Hunger Games Simulator - Trouble Cube Edition
Nightmare Moon was turned into a bug, eh?
Sometimes the best tributes are the ones that make you laugh.

BATTLE MUSIC: Medievil - Cemetery Hill

Night 4
* Luka also manages to summon "Bloody Tom" via the mirror chant.
* And again, like Superkim, Nightmare Moon finds jewelry with a mystical creature that turns her into a superhero. Perhaps a nice little reward after nearly being killed twice.
* That sounds scary, a cartoon show with a ship and a Bond villain, and also imagining how the ship can easily squish Alec.
* Does Le Chiffre find Aya repulsive or something? She's not that hard on the eyes, I don't think. But Le Chiffre doesn't share those sentiments apparently. He's so afraid of looking at her, he tears his own eyes out.
* Libby feeling mischievous and gives a still grieving Faris a wedgie. That's cold, girl.
* Evil Mario and Sarina get tangled up in a wringer while getting superglue all over themselves. And being stuck together for so long, they start crying and thankfully the glue is so weak, tears make it give out and they're all free.
* Who'd have thought Cipher was such a huge fan of Megumi Ogata? He has all kinds of stuff from the voice actress around his camp. He must be really crazy about her.
* Carmello Bianchi has to explain his history to Prince John. About how he was once a Mafioso who tried to rule the city and had to deal with the crooked cop Frank Shannon (who died in the games earlier). Prince John doesn't get it.
* The catgirl Etrata uses her catgirl powers to turn Ariel into an insect. Bug Ariel tries to escape but he gets squished when No-Feet slithers all over him.
* Someone hires Yosuke to kill President Snow, but he does not succeed at it.
* Death's Avatar comes in the tower looking for a fight in the pony Daybreaker. But Daybreaker gets upset and throws out Death's Avatar. Never come between a pony and her meal.
* Superkim flies around and steps down and does something heroic. Scooping out Cat Noir's eyes with a dagger. Superkim!
* I wouldn't think a voice actor would be one of the most intimidating people around, but he is apparently. Fear the Papenbrook.

Day 5
* Daybreaker decides to have a little bit of fun with Google Translate and does the next event. I'll share the results, but notice how we're repeating events?
* From Daybreaker via Google Translate: Megumi likes archery. (Host's comments: Not too much of a departure there, sadly.)
* Carmello deciding to go into TV production and makes an opening for the season, showcasing everything that happened so far. And he even makes his own theme song too!
* Cipher tainting everyone and saying Luka needs to fight people. Just random people. Because chaos is fun!
* Evil Mario and Trevelyan have a little fun playing an old-fashioned dice game.
* Libby is on the warpath and No-Feet, Yosuke and Le Chiffre nearly shit themselves before deciding on a plan: pose as statues and hope she's fooled by them. The plan works for the most part. Except when Yosuke flinches a bit, which catches the eye of Libby and she ends up killing him.
* Don't ask where Nightmare Moon found a coffin that's big enough to fit an entire fucking ship or the nails powerful enough to hold the lid down. But somehow she does so and traps the Warrior inside. But it doesn't phase the mighty ship as he breaks through easily.
* Bryce Papenbrook is looking to make some pastries using crocodiles. But he knows he can't do it alone. So he enlists the help of Superkim to flatten it so Bryce can use it for his cooking purposes.
* Aya blindfolds Little John somewhere, telling him it's a surprise. And as she takes him to a toolshed, she says surprises before bashing his head in with a cane and chopping him up with a chainsaw. She would then toss the little Little John pieces in the sea.
* Death's Avatar goes on the hunt for food, finding some chocolate powder and coconut milk. They mix it and drink it, finding it the best damn thing they ever drunk.
* Faris find a phone, belonging to the catgirl Etrata. She returns it to her.

FALLEN TRIBUTES: Ariel, Cat Noir, Yosuke, John

As the Deja Vu Games continue, the Arena Event will be up next!

Like her sister, NMM can't trap tributes in coffins.
Sometimes the best tributes are the ones that make you laugh.

So Etrata, now a catgirl, has had friendship events with both of the other cat-like human tributes. I see this as an absolute win!

BATTLE MUSIC: The Lego Movie Videogame - Angry Unikitty Rage Theme (Rock Version)

Night 5

* Just where the hell are they getting these big-ass coffins that can house a ship? Like seriously, I'd like to know.
* Superkim also eats a cake that's been in an oven for 4 and a half years. Salmonella might be a problem for most people, but not Superkim!
* Two of the most evil people here team up to make the most evil delicious biscuits out of crocodile pastry. They're evil, but delicious.
* After dumping Cipher as her dancing partner, Sarina takes to dancing on the boat with Daybreaker. Despite concerns over the pony going overboard, that's no issue as the two dance together without incident.
* Libby doesn't like Carmello for whatever reason and wants him dead. Maybe she had a relative that was part of the Russian Mafia.
* That's the second time Evil Mario got hurt from someone throwing their mug on the ground. It's funny it's happened to him twice.
* No-Feet gets stuck in a cave somehow and here comes Trevelyan  to the rescue! Or not, as he explores the cave, looking for the snake, he falls down a hole, never to be seen again. For England, Alec.
* After the attempts on her life, Nightmare Moon decides to relax with a nice shower. But unfortunately for her, her choice of shampoo makes her mane all messy.
* Luka's had enough of Faris so he just pulls out his ol' dagger and pulls out her eyes.
* Megumi Ogata makes it clear she thinks Death's Avatar is a little bitch.
* I guess Bryce Papenbrook is intimidating after all, doing that to a boulder. Don't underestimate him.

Day 6
* Warrior goes around the body of water that's around his camp to make sure it's free of any threats.
* Nightmare Moon and Sarina head out to the Arena Mall for some shopping. But they get lost during rush hour, but they find each other again eventually.
* Catgirl Etrata finds a stopwatch that can stop time itself. Will she put it to good use though?
*  As if being called a pissbaby by Megumi Ogata wasn't bad enough, now Le Chiffre says something so bad, it brings Death's Avatar to tears. Evil mystical beings have feelings too, it seems like.
* That must be one amazing hat that No-Feet wears where Daybreaker wants him to be more like. Be like the hat, people! Be like the hat! Ignore the haters! Be like the hat!
* Megumi Ogata not fucking around warning Carmello and Cipher her soldiers will slaughter them both if they dare cross their path. And Megumi's soldiers are ready for action.
* Aya decides to do something more sensible than butchering Ariel and seal away the evil version of Mario into a void where he can never escape, and she makes sure of it. Leave the evil plumbing to the professionals like Wario next time.
* Bryce Papenbrook find a genie that looks like him who can grant him his wishes. Perhaps he wants more lucrative voice acting jobs and be more famous?
* Luka chilling out in his backyard and vibing while listening to some MGMT.
* Libby has shown herself to be a wicked girl, one who is very powerful. The heads decide it best to take away some of those powers so she can't do too much damage.

Arena Event
* Catgirl Etrata climbs aboard the Warrior and set sail for the Wonderland. Except not, as they fall down the hole into some rocks that dashes the ship into pieces and kills Catgirl Etrata.
* No-Feet is tired, and to relax, he slithers his body around what he thinks is a pillow. But alas, it was a tracker jacker nest, which makes them all come out and give him a death by a thousand stings.
* Carmello is out for a swim when he sees a shark try to eat him. He holds the shark under water until it stops moving. Or so he thinks. In reality, it was just Cipher who was also out for a swim and Carmello just drowned him. Oops.
* Sarina finds herself what she thinks is a nice chocolate éclair that she scarfs down, only for it to give her stinging sensations in her throat, which swells up and suffocates her. That was because she just ate a scorpion and it didn't agree with her.
* Deja Vu strikes again as Luka, still vibing over the MGMT song, also wraps his body around a tracker jacker nest too thinking it was a pillow. And needless to say, he ends up sharing the same fate as No-Feet.
* Libby, Megumi Ogata, Aya, Bryce Papenbrook, Death's Avatar, Nightmare Moon, Superkim, Daybreaker and Le Chiffre all make it through their illusions without any incidents.

BATTLE MUSIC: Mortal Kombat 3: The Church

Night 6
* Megumi Ogata liked Luka apparently, and mourns him at his grave.
* Some song that's really awful plays loudly, and our two ponies can't handle the music, having their eardrums battered by the sheer badness of it.
* Libby might be savage, but even she can't handle the skeletons here.
* Death's Avatar, Kim, Carmello and Bryce Papenbrook are tired of the evil operations funded by Le Chiffre, so they team up and quickly end him. Looks like Daniel Craig wasn't needed after all.
* I would have thought a simple rifle would have sufficed for hunting. But some people like to go the extra mile.

The Feast
* Carmello walks on thin ice and falls through. And now he is, as his people say, sleeping with the fishes.
* Aya decides to take up smoking, but to her surprise, it was one that causes insta-cancer, and rapidly chews up her body, killing her on the spot.
* Superkim is no match for Daybreaker apparently. She gets the jump on him and easily overpowers him before impaling him with her horn.
* Not sure if it's the attempts on her life or how her mane is still messy, but Nightmare Moon looks to jump off a building to end it all. But Megumi Ogata is there to talk her out of it. You have to appreciate how there are celebrities that care.

Day 7
* After saving Nightmare Moon, Megumi Ogata shows Bryce Papenbrook that she is the one supreme voice actor as she grabs a mace and smashes his head with it.
* Again another attempt is made on Nightmare Moon. Libby goes behind her ready to make the kill, but breaks down and begs her not to tell anyone. Considering how she's acted through the season, maybe she thinks she's gone too far. Having a heel reliazation maybe?
*It looks like Daybreaker is taking a picture of Death's Avatar, but you'd be mistaken. The pony is taking one of herself. She probably thinks she looks cute right now and has to show off.

FALLEN TRIBUTES: Le Chiffre, Carmello, Aya, Kim, Bryce

Finale will be in about another hour. So get your tribs ready!

BATTLE MUSIC: Batman (NES) - OST

Night 7
* After all the failed attempts on her life, it would be Nightmare Moon who ended up killing herself in the end, although not by suicide. It was a matter of not watching where she was landing as she hits the ground hard with a thud.
* Death's Avatar decides to make the final push to get ready to win, finding a starshard to power up their weapons big time. Will Death win in the end and not waste it like the others have?
* Figuring she's already lost, Libby goes back to her bad ways and tells Daybreaker to fight with random people, which I'm sure she'd be up for.
* Talking down people from committing suicide and now manning rescue helicopters. Megumi Ogata really does care.

Day 8
* Daybreaker tries to get Megumi Ogata to buy a coffin just in case she gets killed in the game. It's always good to consider these possibilities, right?
* Death's Avatar not too happy with the help Libby has offered.

FALLEN TRIBUTES: Nightmare Moon

Night 8
* It's getting colder and colder. Daybreaker and Death's Avatar decide to embrace each other. Just to keep themselves warm, of course. Body heat and all that.
* You have to appreciate Libby willing to teach a Japanese woman some of our language, even some of the colorful phrases English has to offer.

Day 9
* Some bad blood had developed since Death's Avatar and Megumi Ogata shared their body heat. I wondered what happened?
* Libby is just minding her business, playing inside the ball pit, right when Daybreaker appears right behind her and stabs her with her own horn. Libby's little reign of terror is over, as well as her chances to become a podium finisher.

FALLEN TRIBUTES: Libby

Night 9
* Death's Avatar and Daybreaker challenge each other for podium supremacy in a fight after the former sneaks up on the latter. But no clear winner came of it.
* As she launches her rocket, Megumi Ogata forgot one tiny detail. It's the fact that she somehow tied herself to it and it launches off into space, where she suffocates due to the lack of oxygen. Wonder if she had that coffin Daybreaker gave her inside the rocket?

Day 10
* And this is why you check your cactus fruit for barbs. Daybreaker learns this the hard way as she has to settle for second place after suffocating on the barbs.

FALLEN TRIBUTES: Megumi, Daybreaker

THE WINNER: Death's Avatar

If you can't trap tributes in coffins, then just sell 'em to 'em! Congrats, Daybreaker, for being my first Podium Finisher in this HGS branch!

Since I had to split them up in TVT due to its
recent change in nomination systems1 Main 1 Randomized Reserve due to high player demand and the old sim using 48 tributes max
, here are Apocalypseburg Benny and Taylor (singular they/them, light green, probably a college student who's below legal drinking age in the US). The latter was my reserve that didn't make it in TVT Reboot S185, so I nominated them solo in the season after that.
Sometimes the best tributes are the ones that make you laugh.
