[This is the single stupidest thing written in this report so far. Wendemire announced intentions to become the leader, but he was neither accepted as one by any significant amount of the population anywhere, nor was he legally the leader in any sense whatsoever. It makes no sense to claim that Wendemire became president.]

If you want things to escalate, I will happily play along with your insanity. But I simply want to make it to the river. As soon as possible.

And I am not keen on your being in a good position to attack my forces. I believe I was clear about that. Without attacking over the water, which I have blocked, you must contend with others for the meantime. If you really and truly are only interested in the river and not attacking my forces, give me a good reason to allow you passage and that I should trust you to keep to that agreement.

"I am in a similar position. I too would like access to the lake, if only to set up some naval forces to protect myself. I feel I either have the advantage of being able to expand in multiple directions and the disadvantage of having to withstand attacks from multiple directions. Obviously the former is preferable to me, and I would absolutely be willing to work with people in order to be able to secure lands I might want and prevent that I already own from being seized. You can come talk to me about these things any time."

Alexandra, Fox, I am sure we can negotiate this out. Alexandra, you permit the passage of the Legion's ship through the river. Fox, you do not invade any terriotries of the New Macedonian Empire. If either of you renegade on this, I will move forces against you. If either of you do not wish to sign on to this deal, then may I suggest that Fox move her ship along the coasts of the Midland Resorts and the Peninsula to access the river from there? It is slower, but it would be more feasible than fighting a stalemate.
