Disappointed, he puts it back in a pant pocket of his.

Meanwhile, Derana is walking around the hotel, and not too far from the arcade she notices a room she hasn't really seen before. She goes to check it out...

"Oooh... is this a go-kart track? Looks like this hotel still has a bunch of stuff hidden... yes, this seems like a good time to start a minigame."

Go-Kart Track

Fawful also just so happens to stumble upon the go-kart track while wondering in the hotel in boredom.

A karting track like that red fink-rat plumber likes to kart on much? I, Fawful, will be interested in a race for competition and super glorious glory!

[Zanreo]

"Oh, looks like we got some participants already!" Derana looks over the track. "A bit plain like this, though... maybe some extra stuff should be added?"

[Cassie]

By the time Henrik encounters the track, he's mostly healed now.

"What the fuck is this...I don't even race..."

[Kennifer]

A certain Alternian spider-troll is wandering around the hotel. Noticing there's actually something going on that isn't "dum8 and 8oring", she heads over.

Heyyyyyyyy, what's this? A go-kart track? Now we're talking! We need to put in some o8stacles and stuff, then it'll 8e really gr8!

Go-Kart Track
I, Fawful, can help in searching for obstructing objects that will slow down the karts!

Fawful then leaves the go-kart track to search for obstacles, with a sadistic aura to his perpetual smile.

Hallways
Meanwhile, Mettaton can be spotted putting up posters all over the hallways of the hotel. They read:

Alexis is wandering through on her way to the pool when she notices one of the posters... yeah, she's gonna go sign up right away.

[Zanreo]

"Yeah, that would be nice, thanks!" Derana says as she also goes to look for various items to add. Now, where would she get powerups...

Then, Ichiban also comes across the kart track... "Oh, they got a kart track here? Been a while since I last tried racing... I'm in!"

Fawful comes back with a crate filled with oil cans and some bananas.

I finded obstructing objects that can be used to obstruct a kart! Now to race karts for GLORY!

Hallway
Bow is meanwhile wandering the hotel halls in boredom, when she then stumbles upon one of the posters that Mettaton put up.

A talent show? Hmmm... looks fun! I'm in!

She then rushes to sign up for the talent show.

Vriska has found a bunch of some kind of twine, which she is using to make a net that looks like a spiderweb, for the go-karting thing. Will someone drive into it? Will it drop on them? She's not sure yet but it will be FUN!

Big Bossman comes to the Go-Kart Track and takes a look around.

I'd like to take a part of this too. But be warned. When I'm behind the wheel, y'all have to deal with some ROAD RAGE!!!

Meanwhile Gary Busey takes a look at one of the talent show posters.

All right, a talent show! I'm definitely gonna take a part of this.

He heads to Room 915 and looks for Mettaton.

Inside Room 915 is a desk with a pen and a stack of signup forms, with Mettaton waiting behind the desk.

OH YES, A SHOWTUNE! EVERYONE LOVES A MUSICAL NUMBER ONCE IN A WHILE, AND I'M SURE YOU'RE DO GREAT! JUST FILL OUT A SIGNUP SHEET AND YOU'RE IN!

Alexis grins, and goes to fill out a sheet.

Perfect! I bet everyone will like my song about peanuts.

Gary also fills out a sheet.

Suddenly, Bow rushes into the room, looking excited at the prospect of performing on stage!

Hello... strange robot! I want to show off my acrobatic skills in front of the hotel, so may I sign up for your show?

OF COURSE! WE NEED SOME PHYSICAL PERFORMERS TO SPICE THE SHOW, YOU THINK?

She nods in approval and grabs a sign up sheet.

After she's filled out her sheet, Alexis smiles and waves to Bow.

"Ah hey! You're signing up too? This should be a lot of fun."

[Cassie]

Moona signs up for the show Mettaton's gonna hold.
