1. Nobody knows anything, obviously.
2. Random questions asked (probably to choose someone to randomly lynch)
3. Libre asks strange question, eliciting suspicion
4. bandwagon of 4
5. I defend Libre (that is all I can say objectively)
6. others suspect me
If you want a proper defense:
..I dunno, I just like Libre; bandwagon on such a thing just seems weird
the Libre question thing is weird but tbh, that's just something he Does. not that sus in my eyes. weird? yeah. something sus for Libre specifically to do? absolutely not.
and i may not be loved but they'll always recall my name
Quote:To me…I didn't jump on because of the questions, but of the response.
Remember how he said that he wouldn't reveal his motives for answering until he's done? And how he was sus of Nebula?
He randomly voted me at the start of the game, but is now sus of Magolor.
Even in the unlikely event that you're right and he's trying to make himself suspicious to get himself eliminated early, it wouldn't imply he's scum unless he actually flips scum.
You've called out that he's drawing attention to himself to make himself look suspicious, but then voted for him anyway.
Do you think he's actually scum, or do you think he's town acting suspicious for no reason?
Magolor, you can't use liking someone or the topics they talk about as an actual defence. It has absolutely no bearing on whether someone is scum or not. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt because I town-lean Libre, but if he's scum, watch out. You'll be accused of being his partner in no time flat. If you're indeed his partner, then Libre is distancing himself from you by accusing you.
You jumped in to defend Libre quite rashly. Is there anyone that you think at least might be bad, but wasn't on the wagon (therefore Kennifer, Dookie, Goose and Matthew are excluded)? Can you explain why, regardless?
Knife, the "gibberish question" Libre asked was this:
Quote:Can someone tell me what the flippity fuck was going on when the beef jerky turned turquiose?
I suggested we respond to it because he seemed to be planning something when he said he'll explain why he asked that after everyone answered it, but I think he's already explained.
The fact that Under didn't start talking at roughly the same time as you makes me think that in the unlikely event that you're both scum, you're not on the same team. Of course, it could just be that she has a different timezone to you or any number of factors.
Kennifer, you're only one on Libre's initial wagon that I'm not suspicious of because you were the first one. I'd say it's weird that you've not jumped off yet, however. Do you now actually scum-read/scum-lean him?
I notice that I've not drawn suspicion despite defending Libre and his question as well. Maybe it's because of the difference in the way we defended it. For example, it sounds like CutBug has blatantly ignored me and jumped on Magolor when they noticed he was drawing suspicion. Oddly, they didn't do this with Libre, just saying he's going insane. This was just after the game started, to be fair.
CutBug, I really want to hear more from you.
What else needs saying? TRIPLE STAR
That's what you are.
Amazing!
On why I feel more suspicious of Magolor than you: You've noticed that I'm planning something with the incredibly confusing question, and now you're indicating that you're out to see my plan go through.
All Mag has to defend himself is this:

Regarding voting Dookie: I don't think it's a good of an idea to do that, given that back then he didn't trust me when I haven't revealed much of what I'm planning.
Very interesting...first person to consume solid objects through liquid methods.
No, I don't think Libre is actually sus. I was voting "for a random reason" and "asking an incomprehensible question" seemed as good a random reason as any.
I'm actually surprised so many people jumped on the bandwagon, lol. It was supposed to be a funny nonsense reason to vote randomly on little actual info.
Now that more things are potentially telling though, I shall
/unvote
for now and keep an eye on a couple people, primarily mag.
...i find it kinda weird that you wanted to vote "for a random reason", anyways. why did you decide that being funny and "inadvertently" starting a bandwagon was the best course of events? i dunno, that just feels like you were trying to distract us.
i'll keep an eye on mag, yeah, but i'm also keeping my eye on you, Oz.
and i may not be loved but they'll always recall my name
We have no actual information at the start, poking a bit even for apparently random reasons is encouraged to begin to sus people out. I don't see any evidence she intended to start a bandwagon either. I'm not sus of Oz at the moment.

I wasn't really trying to start a bandwagon though. It was a random reason because it stood out as funny to me. Same kind of thing as "I'm voting for this person because their account is newer than mine", rather than a realer reason like "I'm voting for this person because they jumped on a bandwagon". We were encouraged that we could vote and it was literally the first "random reason" I thought of that made some semblance of sense.
I do find it interesting how many people actually jumped on it though.

That's the thing, we don't really have any leads. The reasoning here for Libre is very sketchy, and I doubt it. My main reason, therefore, is simply bias. I don't remember if we have to eliminate someone right now, but Libre's only thing was a plan. Again, we don't know what the plan is for, and he had 4 people on his case. Seems like plenty reason to defend, there.
Alright, I have a bad feeling that Mag's actually innocent, but before that, imma have to say some stuff.
Alot of the responses to my beef jerky question are basically one of confusion. Some (like Goose saying no, Nebula asking if it's some sort of reference to something) are a bit different, but have that questioning tone that likely results from that confusion.
Mag's reasoning for voting Kennifer came of as suspicious to me since it's clear in this context that it's nonsensical, and he tried to defend something of such.

Vote records and roleflips will be town's primary source of information - the only investigative roles are all on the scumteams in this setup, though the way they're designed does allow for the information to go to town.
This would be why I voted for a random/arbitrary reason to see what happened. And I thought "word salad" made a good arbitrary reason. My "is he trying to confuse us and kill us when our guard is down?" was also a joke.
So no, I didn't mean to start a bandwagon but I do find it interesting that people jumped on it...
No, it stems from me looking back at your posts, and feeling like you genuinely ran out of things to defend yourself (also there's the likely forum inexperience you have since you're one of the newest here)

to Libre: just avoiding posting too often; to Point: it was in reply to Libre's message, since a while ago I had said "my only defense" or something along those lines
