[The Soul shakily nods.] "o-okay..." [They look towards their skeleton—which actually looks like it's been chipped and cracked in a LOT of places, even before they came here—and meekly > offer it for inspection.]

The skeleton is, as stated, cracked and chipped just about everywhere. The bone shards certainly could have come from it, they're the right color and it's not like there's a lot of other skeletons lying around - but y'all don't see any way to tell any new damage from old damage.
