[Fin] Murder U Too - Endgame
Kellensea stands there, mildly amused by the situation, being incredibly unhelpful.

Reminds me of that time I got stabbed. I lived, much to the dismay of the person who stabbed me. Anyway, Host-figure! Question. If this... Ranma dies of this wound, can we convict and execute you for their murder?
I am the They who says it!
I smirk at Kellensea. Clever. No.
nya
He wakes up with a strained gasp. "Okay. . . Maybe trying to punch a god. . . wasn't a good idea. . ." The whole getting stabbed a lot definitely isn't going to affect his pride or anything, no sirree. The martial artist looked at Kellensea with a stink eye. "Gee, thanks. Glad my death would've been used for something great." Is that sarcasm or annoyance in his voice? Probably both.
Haruka is now even more concerned. She walked up to Ranma. "Egads! Are you alright?"
silver dollar, black smoke in my eyes
shattered glass, fallen fast, leave me paralysed
"Hey hey, you're not gonna die! Okay! We just gotta... uhhh, jeez, we just gotta... uh..."

Komaru looks up to the host, panicked. "What do we doooooo???"
"oh hell no, kung fu panda!"
Hm. A shame. Oh well, the wounds are healed, so it's not like I could deliberately conduct malpractice and get you convicted anyway. Worth a shot though, as they say. No idea who "they" is or are, but I assume they're very knowledgeable. Anyway, Ranma, sarcastic and bitter though you may be, you are correct. Your death would have been used for something great. (Also you're correct in punching a god being a bad idea. There's much better ways to go about killing gods.) Anyhow, I'm going to be a really obvious target for you all to make attempts on the life of, because of my... perhaps badly contained open apathy towards the lives of others, verging on antipathy. So I'm going to start fortifying myself so that none of you have a hope of getting to me without me being ready for you.

With that statement only further reinforcing that something is clearly wrong with this person, she stands up and walks off, remarkably quietly despite her heavy armor.

>Grab some tools and nails from the storeroom, and disassemble the desks in the office, making sure to check the drawers for anything valuable or potentially useful.
I am the They who says it!
"Absolutely peachy. . ." Ranma says acidulously to the psychologist. "Not my first time being stabbed, most definitely won't be my last. . ." Doesn't mean it didn't hurt like hell. On the plus side, least he doesn't need to be treated. Didn't want to risk them using cold water to clean the wounds and triggering his curse. He watches as the Ultimate Adventurer trotted off to barricade herself. "Ain't she just a bundle of sunshine? Though guess she has a point. Someone could kill and play that glowy bastard's game. We have to make sure no one falls for his parlor tricks, and find a way out of here."
"Get away with murder..." Alexis thought to herself. Like Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly... but she wouldn't have Billy Flynn to serve as her lawyer... and more importantly, she wasn't keen on the idea of actually killing anyone. Definitely a plot better suited for her favorite musical than real life.

She glanced silently around the room, trying to gather her thoughts and scope out the others. Most of them seemed as shocked and worried as she was at the prospect of maybe having to kill someone, or die. But there were also definitely some to watch out for.
Stupid doomed timeline...
I glare at Komaru. I explained the basic idea. If you need to know something more specific, read the pamphlet.

>Grab some tools and nails from the storeroom, and disassemble the desks in the office, making sure to check the drawers for anything valuable or potentially useful. [Kellensea, 8]
Kellensea successfully acquires building materials from the storeroom, retreats into the office, and builds an Extremely Heavy barricade in front of the door. Searching the desks reveals only very typical office stuff - pens, paper, staplers.
(Mod note: Just added labels to the map to make it clearer where places are, in case anyone here hasn't memorized a secondary map in a particular video game.)

I stretch. It looks like the game's finally getting started. Anyone have any last-minute questions before I vanish to let you look around?

“Yes. Where are the cookies? Or vegetables. Me love vegetables. Also where are me friends?”
why do they call it oven when you of in the cold food of out hot eat the food
"Bit of skewed priorities there, don't you think. . . ?" Ranma rolled his blue eyes at Cookie Monster's talk of cookies at a time like this.
"I mean, some people do eat when they're stressed..."

Alexis was pretty sure this probably wasn't the case here, but she kept this to herself.
Stupid doomed timeline...
"READ THE PAMPHLET, GOT IT!"

>Komaru cracks it open, looking for some kind of information on first aid.
"oh hell no, kung fu panda!"
Hmmmm... what else is in this place?

Bow decides to >explore the landing pad.
Having now finished the soda she'd gotten out of the machine and not particularly feeling hungry at the moment, Alexis goes to

> Check out the laboratory.
Stupid doomed timeline...
Monika, having finished her meal and relapsed from her trauma, decides to...

>Check the Medbay
I don't understand any of this... I'm in a world of complete insanity...
Ranma leaves the cafeteria and looked around any exits in the office. Or anything in general there.
"Huh?!" Komaru watches Ranma leave, and quickly follows behind.

"You still have all those cuts, are you really gonna be okay?!
"oh hell no, kung fu panda!"
Ranma looked over at the normal looking girl with the ahoge and nodded. "I'm fine. I've had worst injuries. Besides, that god thing healed me. Guess me dying would've ruined their little "game" thing." He did airquotes for the game part.
Yes! Actually! Question! If I kill myself and get away with it, can you release me alive? And another question, If someone hits the teleport summon button thing in the cafeteria, will people appear in the same places each time no matter what? And does the button tell people who pressed it? And if a mechanism presses the button, will it say the person who set up the mechanism pressed the button, will it say the mechanism pressed the button, or will it not tell anyone?

After asking these questions, Kellensea gets back to work securing the office against attack, but sees a potential route in.

>Check the vent to see if it's accessible, and then find out what rooms it leads to if it is.
I am the They who says it!
"... should we have someone keep an eye on her?"
"oh hell no, kung fu panda!"
"Yeah, that... might be a good idea."

After the awkward conversation, Haruka decides to > search for an office or something similar.
silver dollar, black smoke in my eyes
shattered glass, fallen fast, leave me paralysed
"If she tries anything, I'm on it." Ranma honey, you just got stabbed in front of everyone.

>investigate Decontamination for anything
I turn to address Cookie Monster. Cookies and vegetables can both be found in the pantry, which is right over there, I say, gesturing to the conveniently obscured-from-map-view-only door.

>explore the landing pad [Bow]
The landing pad is large and filled with various boxes. The door to the actual launch bay is sealed tight.

> Check out the laboratory. [Alexis]
The laboratory contains various chemicals and biological samples gathered from somewhere.

>Check the Medbay [Monika]
It's got a few beds, a scanning pad, and a stock of medical equipment and supplies.

>look around in the office [Ranma]
The office is still barricaded off.

>Engage crazy-preparations mode [Kellensea]
Suicide doesn't count. The emergency button summons everyone to the cafeteria, but precise positions within are random. Only a living player can push the button. I tap the button as a demonstration. A category to which I, as the host of this game, do not belong. It's very picky.

The vents in the room do seem to be accessible. Improbably, they turn out to be large enough to crawl through. There are other vents in several rooms, as shown on the map, and they seem to be all connected together in one big vent network.

>search for an office or something similar [Haruka]
There is indeed an office! It's the room Kellensea has barricaded herself in.

>investigate Decontamination for anything [Ranma]
The decontamination hallway contains very little - the main points of interest are the decontamination gas nozzles and the vent allowing illicit access to the rest of the complex.

had to do this before sleep but not staying up any longer good night thank you
nya
About what I expected. Oh well. Wait, if I give myself a heart attack when I know the button's about to be pushed, but restart my heart later, does that mean I won't be summoned when the button is pushed, but will still be alive? Or is there truly no way to evade the button?

Her last question for now asked, Kellensea sets out to continue her path of hopeful survival.
>Map out the vent network so as to be able to efficiently get around the complex, then

>Grab an enormous quantity of canned goods from the kitchen, along with a can opener and a spoon

then go back through the vents with all these supplies to continue hiding out in the heavily fortified office, making sure to move a desk over the vent so no one can get in without her permission.
