[Fin] Murder U Too - Endgame
Ranma was rubbing the knuckles of his fists. "Why use ten words when a thousand will do. . . ?" He says sarcastically to how Kellensea can never say something without going on a long tirade. "Believe me, no one wants to frame you for murder. We're just asking what you did to create an explosion so you don't end up killing others or yourself. Capiche?"
"Hey, unlike you I'm not actively looking for a way to kill anyone and get away with it right now."
Stupid doomed timeline...
Yes. And I told you what I did. You know how I poisoned the sink and drinks? Well, that was just a particularly caustic component of explosives that I decided it would be easier to kill people with by using it as poison. But it didn't work out, so I decided to make explosives with what was left, and you know how that went, because apparently I made them too unstable, and the test set them off, and now I'm out of explosive components, so there won't be a repeat of that incident. If I ever do manage to kill one of you, it probably won't be with a bomb, because clearly I'm not skilled enough to make one with the components I gathered.

Kellensea is weirdly calm as she says all this, bordering on monotone. It's as if something has stripped the emotions out of her after her tirade. She turns to Haruka then, who she'd ignored for a moment. The one lens is still missing from her goggles.

Haruka. You are incredibly naïve. I mean no offence in this case. Maybe not everyone here is like me. Maybe I'm the only person here like me. But someone here other than me is probably planning, waiting, scheming, and looking for a chance to kill. Further, even the thought that they could be stealing my horde, that's one of the worst things you can do to an adventurer. That is the kind of offence that gets people's bodies put on pikes by my ilk. You put those things together, and you come to a conclusion: If they go in there, they're going to try to frame me, someone who has admitted that I am going to kill someone, for their crime.

Kellensea twitches when Alexis speaks.

You want to kill too. You can't say you've never been curious how it feels to kill. Everyone has. Just because I am open that I'm almost certainly going to kill someone, you hate and fear me. But at least I would not come up with a justification beyond "it felt right", as people like you do.

She says that all in the same monotone. Then she falls silent, and blankly stares at the designs she's carved into the table.
I am the They who says it!
"Don't act like you know me, and don't try to use your messed up mind games against me either. It's not going to work."
Stupid doomed timeline...
Would anyone at all be surprised if she kept a collection of ears in a jar in her basement? Ronnie says about Kellensea.
I like bananas. They're yellow.
"But looting a dead corpse of a man is perfectly acceptable? Would you say the same thing if you were dead and someone wanted to take that ridiculous armor?" Ranma asked, raising a light brow. "And I swear I am not going to kill anyone. Sure, I know some fatal moves that could easily kill someone, could easily take care of my enemies. But that's the difference between you and I Kellensea: I have the honor of a man. And by those honors, I swore not to take the life of anyone, because that's not what a martial artist does. Nor a man." Although he's not completely disagreeing with Ronnie's statement about ears in jar. She does seem pretty wack enough to do that.
Kellensea lets out a small chuckle about the "ears in a jar" statement.

I haven't lived in one place for over 15 years. Don't have a basement to put things in. Hell, the one house I own isn't in a place where basements are the preferred storage option anyway. So yeah, I can't have a jar of ears in my basement... Anyway, teeth are easier. you can string those on a necklace, bone holds enchantment pretty well, generally just the better option... as for you, Ranma...

Somewhere in the pause between "better option" and "as for you" an intensely bitter tone has crept back into Kellensea's voice.

Yes. I would say the exact same thing. The dead have no use for items. If I were to be dead, I would expect to be stripped of items long before I was left to rot where I fell. That is how life is. The dead are dead, they do not need their items. I live, and I want those items. So I take those items. That is how things work. You delude yourself, Ranma. This isn't about honor, this is about some bullshit code you signed up to so you could feel superior. Oh. Wait. Sorry, this is absolutely about honor, which IS a bullshit code that you and others sign up to so you can feel superior while shooting yourself in the foot over and over again. As for this "man" bullshit... that's just another layer of your weird-ass obsession with this "honor" crap. Only paladins and fools believe in honor. "Kill your enemies when they sleep, for they fight not back then" is a perfectly legitimate tactic. You will not suffer for using it. No one comes to enforce that crap, so why do you do it? Why do you reject sound decisions that make your life easier?

Kellensea's bitterness becomes more apparent as she stares directly at Ranma for several seconds, her one visible eye glassy and unfocused-looking, as it usually is. Behind that eye however, utter hatred burns. Eventually, she looks away and gets back to carving, having apparently lost interest.
I am the They who says it!
"Bullshit code. . . ?" A look of confusion soon became a rather offended pissed expression. "Tsk, don't try and act like you know a single thing about me. As the sole heir to the Saotome household, it is my job to carry on that legacy. To do that, my father had to raise me as a man among men while on my journey to hone my skill. Failure to do so would result in my own death." Ranma says, glaring sharpen daggers toward the adventurer. "Never have I desired to sign up for a role such as mine, but now that I am here today, I have to fulfill it. Which is why I won't, and can't, kill anyone here. Because even if I did end up escaping, I had failed myself as a man, and would be put to death upon it anyway. My pride and honor has already been shattered enough. . ." He mumbled something under his breath, bitterness present in his voice, something about springs? "So tell me why the hell would I break it even more? Let me make you all a vow, my promise to you all as a man: I will get you all out of here. While I don't like you Kellensea, the same applies for you as well. Because I'll do whatever it takes to get everyone out here, even if it kills me." He gripped his fists flared up with genuine truth behind his words: He still wanted to get everyone out of here before more blood is shed.
Yea, I feel safe already with Bruce Lee here., Ronnie says as he cracks open another Monster and downs it. He pulls out another one and offers it to Ranma. Here. You'll need this. Keep up the energy.
I like bananas. They're yellow.
". . . It's Ranma." He said, not knowing who this Bruce Lee is. "And I'm good, thanks."
Hm. Okay. Yeah, okay, I get who you are now. You think... well, I won't say it, you and everyone will probably get upset. But it's a common enough issue, even among adventurers. I will use that against you, much as I expect everyone else to be using everything I do against me at some point.

Kellensea once again seems calm. The bitterness is gone. She also appears to have been correct about some of her equipment being self-repairing.. The broken goggle lens does seem to be growing back. a web of tinted glass fibers has formed, crisscrossing the aperture where the previous lens was once. It will probably only be a few minutes until the lens is back entirely. She sheaths her dagger and stops carving up the table, and walks into the vent on the balcony, and is gone. (Presumably to the office.)

Once she's arrived at the office, she...

>checks if anything has been taken from her horde, or if anyone managed to get in in the first place.

" You're welcome to try if you're up for the challenge." He started to say, but seeing as she's walking away, he shakes his head. Besides, he had more pressing matters. His hands, although he's capable of taking great blows in this form, were now starting to bruise. ". . ."
"... Sssssooooo!" Komaru claps. "I. Am exhausted! How about we talk about something else? I don't know if my brain can handle anything else dire today."
"oh hell no, kung fu panda!"
Ranma shrugged and walked off, coming back with some ice in a bag resting on his hand. "Yeah, sure I guess. Though not much to talk about if we're being honest here."'
"I dunno, we can talk about... talk about, uhh... uhmm..."

Komaru thinks for a bit.

Before collapsing onto the floor, snoring loudly.

Turns out she's not all used to all nighters yet.
"oh hell no, kung fu panda!"
"Shoot-" He quickly runs over to help her, checking a pulse just in case. Figuring out she was just passed out, Ranma took a relieved sigh of relief. "Come on, let's get you out of here." Ranma mumbled, picking up Komaru and taking her back to her room. Least, he thinks he figured out her room, cause otherwise he'd have accidentally put her in someone else's room.
Bakugo was just using this time to continue working out, using the exercise equipment he had in his room.
Viking Duck is back from Valhalla, and ready to take all the loot. Also, still a friend to animals.
Rosa does her best not to respond to Kellensea. She is again irritated by how Kellensea has been acting. It is like no one she ever met in Terra.

She then says to the people around her, "anyway, I am going to get some food now. Do you want to go with me, everyone?" It's clear that she wants to invite Haruka, Alexis, Ronnie, and Ranma for this occasion.
Alexis nods. "Sure, I should probably eat something."
Stupid doomed timeline...
I suppose I could eat.
I like bananas. They're yellow.
Bow walks into the conversation and also decides to eat.

Yeah, I should also probably eat.

>get some food
After taking Komaru to what he hopes is her room, Ranma walks out. "Sure, I can eat. Need any help?"
Alexis will very carefully examine her food before eating, with all this talk of poisoning and such she's going to be as cautious as she can.
Stupid doomed timeline...
Ranma sits down, and looks over the bottle of NRG drink. "I. . . Don't trust this. . ." He mumbled, not being too big fan of energy drinks. Plus there's readings on the back, and he's reading the back of it to see what's in it.
NrG — Side effects include: Nausea, Headaches, Rapid Heartrate and possibilities of Stroke and/or Heart Attack.
