Kellensea immediately gets distracted by the shiny objects and lights in the admin room and begins

Gripping his fist, Ranma'd run out of the room and back to where the dorms was.

>Seeing the ajar door, he'd walk in with the others.

"Do you guys see something?"

Komaru follows behind.

"Ya know, maybe the host is joking around. And like, this is all a prank? And we can go home?"

"No offense. . . Komaru, was it? But considering the host filled me with knives on the first day coming here, I doubt he's joking." Ranma said, deciding to look under the bed with Kai. Silently praying someone wasn't stupid enough to play this game, otherwise he'll be punching them in the face.

Oh, uh, did I mention that Doug's on the bed, dead? Whoops, looks like I didn't.

Bow immedently springs into action upon seeing Doug's room.

Never mind, Ranma's not looking under the bed, OP thought the body was under it. Seeing the body of the large man in the trench coat, the martial artist took a deep breath. ". . ." He walks over and presses his hand on Doug's neck, checking for a pulse.

"Well, I... no, you're right. I'm sorry, maybe I should just be quiet."

Komaru lets out a long sigh.

Before looking at Doug's corpse, strewn on his bed.

"GGYYAAAAAAAAAH!!! H-H-HE'S...!!"

No, Komaru, don't faint. Whatever you do, do not faint... She stabilizes her breathing, stepping closer to the body. "Oh my god..."

Hearing her apologize, Ranma shook his head. "No. . . You don't need to be." He pulls his hand off Doug's neck, having felt no pulse. "I'm just a little peeved someone actually caved." On the first day too. He didn't know Doug, or have any emotional connection to him. But the poor bastard didn't deserve this. "Alright, can whoever killed him save us the time? I won't punch you as hard."

"Someone started the game. . ." Ranma would tell them as they entered, a pissed expression drawn on his face.

Yeah I didn't process any actions yet cause I wanted to give people time to adjust after I forgot to tell them Doug was plainly visibly dead

Also like, just going to a place only needs to be processed through the RTD system or whatever if there's reason to expect something unusual might happen on your way there. Otherwise you can literally just roleplay it.

Well, there's a bunch of electronics. Under the circumstances, they're probably more valuable left where they are to do what they're doing, but maybe once the game ends, Kellensea could gaffle them.

Bow searches thoroughly, but it looks like the killer was very careful to remove all evidence from Doug's room. She only manages to find a single blue cloth fiber.

Doug was killed by having his neck snapped. It doesn't look like there was any struggle, or any other injuries except the neck snap.

"Looks like whoever killed him snapped his neck. I just hope it was quick. . ." He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath trying his best not to punch the nearest wall.

Kellensea then heads to the bedrooms, since everyone else is clearly headed there, and goes to investigate the body. She then realizes...

Ranma looks under the bed. Other than the shoes, which Kai has removed and is investigating himself, there doesn't seem to be anything of interest.

The main impression Kai gets from it is "fuzzy". It's rather thick for clothing; imagining a weave made of this stuff produces an impression of a really itchy sweater.

There's definitely nothing under the bed.

On the bed, of course, is the bedding and Doug's corpse. The bedding looks a normal amount of disturbed for a bed someone was sleeping in, and Haruka can't find any signs of anything other than the fatal neck-snap.

There's a print on Doug's neck that's approximately the right size and shape. However, it seems to be completely flat - no fingerprints or anything of that like.

Ranma stands up and crossed his arms. "Anyone find anything useful?"

...Hey, I just solved the murder! I know committed this adequate extermination! Though how they managed to kill someone with such a quiet neck-breaking, that is respectable. Normally there's like a few minutes of screaming, coughing, and twitching first before they run out of air or tear something vital... To the point, I move that we immediately gang together and administer some extrajudicial violence on a certain... individual. Also, since I've just solved it, I'm going to take this corpse's clothing as a reward.

"So what you're saying is whoever snapped his neck done this before-" Okay, just as she said something smart, she immediately does something dumb. Ranma's gonna grab her hand. "Hey! That's a dead body, not a lost and found bin for clothes!"

She whispers to herself. "That behaviour is.. concerning. Seems like kleptomaniac to me.."

If you'll pardon the pun, you could say that this whole sort of thing is in my job description, as an adventurer. After all, I do hunt monsters. Any...

Kellensea shoots Ranma a glare through her goggles.

It's a DEAD BODY. What possible use does it have for clothing? They're MINE now, since it apparently has nothing else of value on it. I'd think you'd understand where my qualifications lie. Hell, I've probably been doing this longer than you've been alive. So, if you will let me take my prize, I will tell you the name of the murderer. Further, you should know better than to attempt to take an item from an ADVENTURER, Ranma.

In response to Hakura, Kellensea just gives a look that conveys quite adequately the words "Really? You're still on about that?"
