[X taps his shoulder.] "Well, the two of us are gonna be working together, right?! Along with everyone else?! And you're kinda small! And I'm pretty tall! So I was wondering if, y'know...!"

[Pico takes a moment to process exactly what X is asking.] "...you want me to fuckin' ride on your shoulders? Izzat what you're saying?"

"Yeah! Pretty much! We'll be unstoppable like that! You'll be able to snipe bad people from above! Besides, if we're stuck like this, we might as well have fun with it, right?!"

"..." [Pico slowly nods, his briefly confused expression reverting back to his usual grin.] "...eh, y'know what, you got a point there."

[Taking that as approval, X crouches down to his knees for Pico, who promptly climbs on. Once he's stabilized, X stands back up straight, a dorky smile on his face. This is... the happiest X has looked since his first day on the island, actually.] "Teammates!!"

"Teammates," [Pico echoes, chuckling to himself.] "Y'know, I'm liking you way fuckin' better than your source already."
