"Kid, you from there? Tell us, if your parents are there, or if you're a runaway messing with three completely untrustworthy people and one totally trustable person."

Roll: 6 (+1 strength modifier) (Success!)

WAH-

The little girl quickly flickers around, teleporting everywhere...

... Okay... My name is... Iris Setsuna... And... Well... It's a long story.

"Who are you, anyway?  Where are you from? And where am i?" asked Nintendo.

Oh, this? This is a simulation!

Iris's form quickly flickers...

And as for what exactly am I... Well... How do I say this... I should be dead. ... ... ... but I'm still here.

More flickers and glitches form on Iris's body...

And... I just wanted to have some fun with you... I'm so lonely... I... haven't seen anyone in ages...

"... Okay!" Kity declares, patting Iris on the head.

... Not exactly. I SHOULD be dead... The doctors told me I had this brain cancer... that... Yeah...

Iris starts crying a bit... but is comforted by Kity's pat... which... actually touches Iris instead of phasing through her...

Paquerette raises her hand. "Uh, sorry about that, girl? More important, are we dead. Because I honestly expected either more hot people here or more hot flames. Though if it is a simulation..."

"I do not know if I can actually die. I am, however, quite familiar with simulations. Does this one have a goal to achieve, or is it one of those open-world types that are more for fun? And if it is the former, did I get any experience for crushing a slime?"

"Of course it's a simulation!" Kity declares confidently. "How else could I possibly be here? I'm a program, I don't have a physical body!"

... Oh, so that's why you didn't phase through me!

Iris smiles a bit at Kity's comment

And yeah, you did... Um... what was your name? Ivy? ... Yeah. Also, no. YOU'RE not dead. In fact...

Iris snaps her fingers and the sky forms a sort of supernatural grid in the sky...

You're just fine!

The grid vanishes...

"Intriguing..."

Ivy briefly considers what might happen if she were to shoot a portal at the grid, but decides against it, at least for now.

Instead she will

>Start walking towards the city, as she is curious to see what there is along the way.

> City
You all enter the City... it's quite a lively place, actually! There's a lot of people walking around. As for buildings, there's a pub, a giant market, and a castle looming in the center of it all... The sheer scope of it almost overwhelms you...

Paquerette mumbles under her breath. "What fucking year is it, 1223?"

You're immediately stopped by a bunch of guards guarding the entrance...

Do you have any business here, miss? You don't look like you're from around here...

The guards are looking with an inspecting look...

There's a lot of foodstuffs here.. along with a bunch of blacksmiths selling weapons, straight off the anvil! The most prominent, however... is the apothecary, filled with many different elixirs and potions... Whatever could they do...

"I think we definitely do have business here!" Kity declares confidently, having apparently followed Paquerette to the castle. "... I haven't figured out what it is yet, though!"

Not being organic, Ivy wouldn't have use for medicines for herself, most likely, and food is optional... weapons maybe, but she's got her portal gun and the creativity to use it against... well, it ended up eventually working on the slime.

Potions to be used in combat, on the other hand, could potentially be useful. (And used at a distance with help from a portal if an enemy looks particularly dangerous... there's got to be tougher things than slimes, right?)

She'll check those out in a minute, first she will

>See if she has any sort of currency in this simulation that can be used for buying some of this stuff.

You find some golden coins convienently stored in your pocket... You can't make out any of the markings, as they've been scrubbbed off by general use a long time ago... but... wait. Hold on... you just got here...
