Flying to trap the cat from an unconventional angle is certainly a strategy. It's not an easy one, and the cat sees Catar coming most of the time, but eventually she surprises the cat.

...The laser pointer isn't distracting the cat well enough at all, though. It's just agitated enough that the guestbook is almost shredded by the time Catar gets what she can from the cat.
