Catar sighs. Here she was, hoping for a vacation.

Cat Catching 101

1. Hopefully that's easy enough. The guestbook has been around for years, has it not...? It must be falling apart even just a little bit- there must be some traces left behind by the guestbook that she can try and locate, and follow by flying- or at the very least, narrow down where the cat could be. Maybe she can locate the cat itself if she's lucky.

2. Right. This will be a bit of a struggle.

Is the cat outdoors? If so, then well, time for Some More Shopping. Wow, what a vacation, doing the same thing she's been mandated by her brother to get away from.

She sees if she can buy herself some rope, and a basket with big enough holes for her tail to poke through, alongside being a little bit on the comically large side. After some struggling, she manages to tie a rope to the bottom of the basket and tie the rest of the rope to herself.

She then takes off to the skies, the basket following her as it is tied to the rope. She flies up and above the cat, and starts looowering herself til the basket has fully covered the cat.

If they're indoors, well shoot. You're pretty sure you can figure *something* out with the basket and rope you bought. Maybe put in some cat food and prop the basket up with a stick, like one of those cartoon traps.

... maybe Catar should have thought of that before tying the rope to herself. Hell, maybe even put in some food in the basket. Or catnip. She's not an animals person. She's a reptile. And a person.

While Catar is at the shop, she makes to buy herself a laser pointer.

3. So much for a vacation with even a modicum of dignity.

As she approaches the now totally imprisoned cat, she grabs the laser pointer with her mouth and turns it on, shaking it around to grab the cat's attention. All the while, her tail tries to sneak through the holes in the basket and snatch the book from the cat while its distracted. She looks utterly ridiculous while doing so.
