1. The zombies are all looking to add you all to the ranks of the undead. They are all huge in numbers. Battle the zombies or find a way to evade them.
No problem. That guarantees I roll a 1 or 10 now, doesn't it?
Not only is Ting-Lu resistant to Ghost attacks, its body is actually metallic and earthen, so very little, if anything, in terms of actual flesh. Some Ghost Pokemon like Cofagrigus (sarcophagus) and Dusclops (looks like a cyclops mummy) are enough for me to associate the undead in general, and hence zombies with the Ghost type.
Ting-Lu employs a strategy similar to the Spikes+Earthquake one from its encounter with the sharks, though hopefully it won't result in catastrophe this time. In addition, it'll pick off stragglers with a ruthless Throat Chop, courtesy of it swinging its antlers into/through their necks.
2. A demonic hound the size of a pick-up truck leaps in front of you. You try to run but it is too fast and strong to escape from. It can be killed however. Find a way.
It's definitely faster. That doesn't necessarily mean it's tougher.
Considering the closest thing to a Pokemon hellhound is Houndoom, which Ting-Lu has the type advantage against, it'll stick to just Earthquake and Rock Slide to fight it off. This doesn't guarantee the demon dog here has similar weaknesses. But if it does, happy days.
If it downs the hound for long enough, Ting-Lu will then trample on the hound's head if it has time, partially to make sure it doesn't come up for round two and partially just for its own amusement.
3. A burning portal to Hell opens up close to you all. And you all fell hands grasping your feet, looking to drag you all into eternal torment. Find a way to free yourself from these hands to avoid damnation.
This'll be the tricky bit, unless luck says otherwise.
Speed is not Ting-Lu's strength at all. However, it's very heavy, which could even that out in this case unless the hands are super strong.
Ting-Lu will try to run from the portal as long as it can to maximise its distance from it.
Once the hands make it difficult for it to move, it will again choose Earthquake to shake them off. If things get desperate, it can try using Rock Slide to fight them off or make a platform.
Weirdly, Ting-Lu is more determined to not let the witch get one over it than afraid of eternal torment. Following getting hoist by its own petard during the aforementioned shark incident, it guesses she's not done with it yet, and hence she'll just drag it back out of Hell to torment it herself, for one.
