The unit prepares. It's done this hundreds of times before. Cutting the power could shut off the alarm, but it would be better to be in the building when the power cuts. That's when there's the most advantage to be gained, and everyone could make sure the power cutting won't cause problems down the line, like making automatic doors stick, or setting off some fail-safe or other. Taking out a cleaning droid would be quite the display, but it's unlikely to be much of a diversion, the momentum means it might not fall far from the building, and would only move the guards a short distance.

Now, a fire, burning trash, who knows what deadly substances and explosives may be created from that? Besides, surely the guards would need to put it out, lest it damage the building.

Once again, the best course is the one the co-revolutionaries are the most likely to object to.
