Claudette's Plan

1. You all find yourselves caught in the rain. And the clouds bring the lightning and thunder as bolts strike at everyone. The lightning creeps closer to you, aiming to hit you all. Evade the bolts and get to safety.

Oh my goodness, raw ley-line energy!

...Okay, maybe not. But Claudette does recognize energy patterns, and sees where the lightning is naturally not striking. (I mean, probably because of the physics of electricity and what provides a good path to the ground, but… she doesn't have to know or believe that specifically to see a pattern.) She goes where the lightning is less apt to strike.

2. The rainfall increases tenfold. Before you know it, you find the camp is flooding. Reach high ground or drown.

Claudette finds a large chunk of tree trunk and a branch. Now her artistic and woodcraft skills come into play. Getting out her knife, she whittles them into as good a semblance of a canoe and a paddle as possible in the time she has.

3. Now the rainwater has turned to blood. The sharks from the river are swimming after you, looking for a nice meal. Fight them off otherwise you're dinner.

Oh, damn. Claudette would rather not harm sharks, they're just part of the ecosystem trying to survive like everyone else, but if she has to… she whittles a stick into a sharp harpoon, and heaves with everything she has. Aiming specifically for the snout and eyes.

1. Seems like you've been smoking too much. Your pattern senses are completely off. You head into a place which you get struck multiple times in quick succession. This results in you getting blown up in an explosion of sparks and smoke that reduces your body to mere atoms. After the smoke clears, all that remains is a smoking crater where you stood. The Ranger points his/her finger to the crater and within seconds, your body reforms back to normal. Alive again, but singed.

That was fun. As much as I love a good light show, I would prefer to keep you around for just a little bit longer.

2. With the rain, you have a hard time cutting into the wet wood to make yourself a proper canoe and paddle. In the end, you made something that's not the most sturdy, but your crafting skills have helped you a little bit to make this.

3. This actually goes pretty well for you. Your quick skills on making a harpoon and you put enough oomph to pierce the sharks between the eyes. They are not mere sharks, but demonic sharks from Hell which are more tougher than what you're used to seeing. Still, you managed to kill them with ease by making the harpoon with just the right amount of sharpness.

Rolled 7 and 1+ for crafting skills for a total of 8.
