Backstory: Sold off to a barely legal orphanage by her parents, Valania was virtually forced to raise herself since the orphanage's caretaker only provided the bare necessities. Teaching herself advanced wind magic, Valania took part in various gliding sports such as air parkour and cross country flying in hopes of making some money. Eventually, her country's major professional cross-country flying league took notice of Valania's skills and recruited her with a hefty contract, and she quickly became one the hottest rising stars in the league.
Personality: Valania is very friendly, if somewhat dense, for the most part. She loves making new friends and won't hesitate to help others, even if it comes at the cost of stressing her out. This stems from her abandonment issues, which led to all sorts of nasty mental issues. She feels like she needs to constantly act wholesome since many people look up to her. She's afraid that she'll slip up and become abandoned once more, and as such she struggles with making long-term friends.
Distinguishing Abilities: Valania is a skilled wind mage. Her scarf is actually a specialized glider known as a parafleece, which makes her look suspiciously like Cape Mario of Super Mario World fame when she's using it. By combining her wind magic with her parafleece, Valania can for all intents and purposes, fly.
