Backstory and Personality:

• Backstory: Louis XVI & Marie Antoinette were the last king and queen of France before the French Revolution struck. They married when the two were teenagers and ascended to the throne as young adults when Louis' grandfather, Louis XV, passed away. However, they weren't exactly the most competent rulers and from a series of screw-ups and France going into financial ruin (the fact that Louis funded America to help out with its revolution didn't help), a revolution was inevitable. Louis and Marie were overthrown and banished to the Tuileries Palace. Eventually, the royal family would try escaping on what would be called the Flight of Varennes. In OTL, it failed and they got caught, leading to the family getting imprisoned in the Temple Prison and later on, both Louis and Marie would get beheaded. But here, right as the family got captured, a beam of light shone on Louis and Marie and poof -- they disappeared, or at least that was how it was seen by whoever witnessed it. In reality, they get sent to the modern day and showed up in front of a certain spa getaway...
  
• Louis XVI: Louis is a timid, anxious man. He's rather indecisive and takes forever to make a decision, especially if it's a rather important one. However, if Marie is discussing plans with him, Louis would feel more confident around her and can contribute to the plans. He is also kindhearted and well-meaning, willingly to help out if asked. But, if you insult his wife or harm her in any way, you'll piss him off to hell and back and will beat the merde out of you.
  
• Marie Antoinette: Marie is the more outgoing and charismatic out of the two even if the Revolution made here a bit more reserved than usual. She'll usually be the one speaking up if needed and is able of holding her own ground. Like Louis, she is also tender and willing to help. Marie is the one who'll come up with the plans as Louis doesn't trust himself to make capable ones after the failed Flight of Varennes. She'll snap at whoever insults her husband, often shouting at them in French obscenities.
  
• Both: Louis and Marie love each other dearly to the point that it seems like they're tied by an invisible knot as they are unwillingly to leave each other's side. If the spouse gets attacked physically, verbally, or both, the other will come to defend them. They also miss their children and worry profusely about their current state as they were left behind when Louis and Marie were taken to the modern day, thus their goal is to figure out how to get back to their time and reunite with their children. As you would expect from a couple from the 18th century, they aren't the most tech savvy. However, give them some time and help and it's possible that they can use the basic tech.
  

Distinguishing Abilities:

• Louis: Louis is a skilled locksmith, being able to unlock locks with ease. He is also decently strong despite gaining a good amount of weight from the stress of the Revolution, thus is capable of defending himself or others from physical assault and can fight back, and carry heavy things. As he used to be an avid hunter, Louis has good marksmanship, specialized in hunting rifles but can use any other gun if needed.
  
• Marie: Marie is a passionate fashionista, being able to choose the perfect outfit for a specific occasion. As a result, she can make decent disguises. Her charisma is good enough to the point she can willy nilly talk her way out of conversations if she doesn't want to be in it.
  
• Shared: Louis and Marie are good at teamwork, their strengths fit each other and as Louis feels the most confident around his wife, they are able to scheme and figure out the next desirable action.

• Both have affectionate names for each other. Louis' name for Marie is "Antoine" and Marie's name for him is "Auguste" (his birth name).
