1. You all got a mob of angry townspeople after you. Try to evade them, or if you're feeling particularly bold, try to reason with them.
Xue attempts to climb up a tree, as she's done multiple times before. She's never been a stranger to being hated. It's what she lives for. The only time people usually paid attention to her. She's...not a stranger to angry townspeople either, unfortunately. No chance at reasoning with them unless you do something really impressive. And unfortunately, there's no angry gods to quell. So she's shit out of luck. She hops through the trees, away from the reach of the townsfolk.
2. After your experiences with the mob, you all find yourselves about to be executed among the townspeople looking to seek so-called justice. Can you escape before you get a noose around your neck?
...Execution. The fate she'd nearly had before being exhiled. Exhiled into a place like this stupid. Fucking. Forest. She mutters to Larson.
"...use Infernal Parade, Larson!"
A wave of fiery wisps march through the crowd. In the distraction, Xue jumps on top of her Typhlosion and tries to ride into the forest.
This wasn't the kind of attention she wanted, but it was better than no one even looking at her like usual.
3. After this, you all find yourselves in a dark, cavern-like place. In the walls you see souls breaking through and they all attack you. A few of them you recognize, including Crow, Susan, Quinarva, CATS, among many others. All of them who fell victim to the Witch these past 300 years. Fight them off.
Those bitches. Xue had always seen spirits in her everyday life. On trains, haunting forests and buildings, beings with unresolved business. Sometimes, she'd see her uncles conversing in an empty room in her big childhood home, tricking and threatening various ghosts in order to maintain status. She'd see the Aegislashes lining the halls, ready to defend against any political or financial enemies to the family legacy that wouldn't be stopped by death.
She wasn't like the rest of her family though. It was a fact she'd spent her whole formative years proving. To be like them was to blend in and be forgotten, neglected. But fighting? Fighting always got people's attention. So she got good at fighting.
Xue looks at Larson. Let's go, you ghostly pricks! The combat's second nature to her. Mystical Fire. Shadow Claw. Flamethrower. Infernal Parade. As she yells the moves, dodging and fighting whatever ghost comes at her directly, Larson takes each and every command, unleashing supernatural flame onto the vengeful spirits.
