All right, first things first. We all need to work together if we're all going to stay alive. I appreciate the efforts you've made in finding some food or shelter so far. But we need to unite together as a group and look after each other. We need to supply food and shelter for all of us. Find enough for us to get through this entire thing. I've browsed the entire area and if you're all willing to make it work, we should have enough to get us through the ordeal. And whoever does the best, I'll look after for the night.
Gene pulls out a hunting knife from his shoe.
Don't worry, it's for protection should anyone try something.
1. Look around the forest and find a place to make shelter for us. Use whatever equipment you have and make something. Or find something you can use to improvise. It can be from the various planks of wood around. Can be from the trees, or you can kill a few of the animals here. Whatever, just come up with something and make sure everything is all sturdy.
2. Search the area for some food. You can find berries or any kinds of fruit here. Just be careful you don't get any poison. Or you can can fish and hunt for something. Just make sure there's enough for everyone here.
3. Find a way to keep yourselves warm at night. A fire or something makeshift that you find outside. Make some kind of covers or whatever. It's important to be secure, fed and warm during the night.
YOU ALL HAVE UNTIL JUNE 23 AT 6 PM CST TO COMPLETE THE CHALLENGE.
Quinarva fixed the deer-killers with an icy glare. Stuck in the woods for three minutes and they were already taking it out on innocent critters! Suddenly, she felt much more justified in staying on the burned-shelter side of the river. Still, if Gene said they had to work together, they were working together. No if's, and's, or but's.
1. Well, since she was a borderline wild animal to begin with, and could also shift into a tree, she usually just slept outdoors, shelterless. Unfortunately, no one else could simply shift into a tree. She decided to scope out, starting right on the fire perimeter-how did no one on the outside notice this border wall of fire?-and collect branches and stones, enough to form rectangles. With the stones as her foundation, she sets down the branches as close together as possible. She uses treesap to glue together a bark roof and fill in whatever holes are in the makeshift walls. Suitable enough for a mortal, hopefully.
2. Sure, she is immune to plant poisons, but others not so much. She scopes the ground for more berries and nuts. She was sure that there were such things buried in the ground by squirrels, so she's sure to dig deep. She supposed she could bring back some meat...but ONLY if the animal was already dead. That isn't satisfactory? Well, she supposed she didn't have a problem with hunting fish. The pointy tips of her broken antlers could probably spear something!
3. Luckily, there are plenty of dead leaves to work with. With her nymph magic, she makes grass and weeds grow long, clips them with her teeth, and uses them to weave the dead leaves into a blanket. Not as much to this strategy.
If you hear about someone putting characters through intense despair and misery, then that someone is probably me.
