...Well, if there's no help, we'd better do what we need ourselves, yeah. I'm going to ache after this, though.
Taira's Plan
1. Look around the forest and find a place to make shelter for us. Use whatever equipment you have and make something. Or find something you can use to improvise. It can be from the various planks of wood around. Can be from the trees, or you can kill a few of the animals here. Whatever, just come up with something and make sure everything is all sturdy.
Taira's going to look for a place on relatively high ground so they won't get washed out by a flash flood. Maybe the area they tumbled down? Then she's going to take a stick and use it to dig into the hillside. Reinforce it with some more wood and some clay from the river so it's not going to crumble in around us. Line the floor with pine needles for coziness. Maybe even dig a few steps up to it. Should be positively cozy! ...Hopefully she can get some of the others to pitch in on this.
2. Search the area for some food. You can find berries or any kinds of fruit here. Just be careful you don't get any poison. Or you can can fish and hunt for something. Just make sure there's enough for everyone here.
Taira's going to do some more fishing – that seemed to work. But protein alone does not a meal make, so she'll look for dandelion greens, wild blackberries, wild onions and wild mustard, and maybe even some hazelnuts it it's the season.
3. Find a way to keep yourselves warm at night. A fire or something makeshift that you find outside. Make some kind of covers or whatever. It's important to be secure, fed and warm during the night.
Yeah, Taira is really regretting that her sleeping bag got burned. She'll gather more wood for the fire, then she's going to have to cannibalize some of her extra change of clothing to sew together into a blanket. She did bring an extra change of clothes, right? If not, well, she guesses she'll have to make a bow and arrow from the wood in the forest and hunt some rabbits to clean and tan their hides and sew those into a blanket, which… is going to take a while. But at least she'll have extra meat at the end of it?
