I don't think you're stupid, Inez, by the way. I think everyone has slipups, and that there was no reason to think that what you said would make anyone think you were suspicious when you said it.
Could I be wrong? Absolutely. You could have just been going off what your friend told you and I was way off base. Somebody or somebodys knew for sure that it was the Ninja, though, and that person is the ninja and their associates themselves. ...That they figured out how to use it for a non-ninja kill might mean they have experience.
