One fine day, a young German man with short blond hair and blue eyes, covered in simple knight armor is wandering in a forest. He carries around a bag full of strange pellets he needs to stave off the Nightmare infection. The scar gashing around his right eye is a horrible reminder of those times. To those from his country, he is better known as Siegfried Schtauffen, great hero, outer space explorer and the current principal of Namco High.
For some reason, Siegfried encounters a rather strange egg in the middle of a grove. Owing to his nature as a knight, Siegfried decides to pick up the egg. When he does, it hatches, revealing a cute slime with a face and round circles for ears.
To himself, the knight wonders, “Hmm…? What should I call you?”
A moment of clarity washes over him. “I know! I shall call you Marcia!”
And so Siegfried decides to raise this strange blob as his daughter. For some reason, the blob changes into a cat-like blob, a puppy, and then a human-sized fairy as she grows up. She must be one of those Digimon, correct?
Surprisingly, Siegfried manages to look young and fit, even as 18 long years have passed. Guy must've been taking those youth pills a plenty, eh?
