* Backstory and Abilities:
- Abigail Williams was one who kickstarted the infamous Salem Witch Trials back in 1692, by falsely accusing her neighbors of witchcraft. Over two hundred were accused of practicing witchcraft, which lead to thirty being found guilty and nineteen of whom were hung, one stoned to death, and around five people died imprisoned. A genuine witch cursed Abigail upon her execution during one of these trials. The curse made Abigail unavailable to age past twelve while granting her a heavily increased life span, enhanced durability, and the souls of those executed to reside within her. After the Salem Witch Trials ended, Abigail began feeling incredible guilt for her role and left Salem, becoming a long-living wandering girl who traveled across America and back. She witnessed major historical American events from the American Revolution, Gold Rush, American Civil War, and the Cold War. Recently, she returned to New England, where she decided to go on a trip to Blackmoon Forest after hearing the stories of a witch haunting the area. There, she hopes to find the witch in hopes of breaking her curse and perhaps embracing death itself.
- Abigail is quite durable, being able to shake off hits that would've seriously injured your average person. This makes it slightly harder to kill her.
- Strengths: Abigail has good survivalist skills, from setting up shelter in the woods, to knowing which food and water are safe to consume. She is also heavily knowledgeable on American History and witchcraft, the former of which comes when you literally lived to see the American Constitution be written.
- Weaknesses: Abigail is haunted by the damned souls of those executed during the Salem Witch Trials, which leads to her hearing their agonizing whispers, and frequently suffers from insomnia because of them. As a result, Abigail tends to be quite exhausted, often yawning, and can be seen drinking coffee despite her physical age. Thus, she has a limited amount of energy for a day before needing to head to bed earlier than the rest.
- Abigail Williams is NOT immortal (she wouldn't be in an MG if she was lmao), she just so happens to have a rather long life span and is just slightly harder to kill.
- She doesn't mind being called "Abby" or "Abbie" for short.
- Despite her presumably Puritan upbringing, she became an agnostic over the centuries. That doesn't mean she isn't kinda prudish though.
- She also adapted well to modern technology to the point she can use them as well as your average joe. On a phone she stole has, she'll usually watch witchcraft-related videos, history videos, and analysis essays of horror films.
