1. …I'm afraid my extinct bird aviary has developed a hole and needs a fix quick before all the birds escape! And we need to lure back any that have escaped.

"How about some tough metal mesh sheets to patch up that hole, and a scent lure for any that've escaped? I've seen some birds flock around some things back home - I think that has to do with the smell of the things...I'm sure we can find the right scents to bring these ones back."

2. The giant sloth has burrowed under its enclosure… what is the best way to deal with that?

"Crap, not exactly the strongest when it comes to lifting..."

"So...why not use a stiff, long, wooden...rod? I think? Something pretty thin and long, but is thick enough to be sturdy. Gently coax the sloth out of the hole with it, making it grab onto the pole to make it easier to pull out. Then just...cement the hole, but leave something that repels sloths at the bottom, or the end of the hole so that the sloth stops trying to dig again. I'm sorry if this seems odd, since I've never seen any sloths before."

3. I'm also going to need help moving new lab supplies a new contact I have has arranged for from the ship into my lab before the ship that brought you here departs again. They're… quite heavy equipment. An idea for how to move it most efficiently and easily would be very appreciated.
