I mean yeah, I explained my reasoning earlier. Were you not paying attention? I specifically said "because Spamton is also short, any evidence that points to short people after the cookie who's name I've forgotten turns up innocent will be ignored as obvious framing, giving Spamton free reign." That sort of thing has happened before.
Also Spamton wouldn't have cookie crumbs in his house. He'd have got them from somewhere else, or the cookie's house. Why would the cookie be leaving crumbs in Spamton's house?
