The rabbit felt right at home. He made his bed in abandoned streets, cars, just about anything rusty and dark, all his life. Anyone who messed with him, he knew how to bite, send away, and shoot when their back was turned. Very impressive for an animal who stood at three feet, tops.

Needless to say, he wasn't frightened of the man. The gold-toothed grin was met with an amber-eyed glare. "Lucky. Lucky O'Chopper." For such a small animal, his voice was deep and rugged, with the world's thickest Scottish accent. He puffed his hot red fur and bared his teeth. "If I'm gonna be your hire, then why don't you tell me what I'm doing, purple-gums?" The last time he expected to be of service without a catch, he ended up fighting for his life in Hell. Any unfortunate situation was going to be worked out swiftly and bloodily so Lucky could return to his favorite abandoned shitpile of a house. He had the means of doing it, too: A metallic rabbit's foot was clanged against the bandaged stump on his other side.

"You better chat with me about this job first, or you're pickin' up your teeth with broken fingers." He trudged to his new place, somehow maneuvering the door open and slamming it behind him.
