It's generally good, but it seems like a good chunk of his character arc beats are dedicated to him saving Autumn and Liz. If that's what you're going for, that's good, but it might also be interesting to have him interact more with Jake (who just seems to exist for the letters beat and then vanish from relevance), and also maybe have a time autumn and/or liz need to save him to help create a front bookend for his climactic rescue at the volcano.

Ah, thanks! I'll try and see where I can put those sorts of scenes; I haven't come up with any situations where there's really a need for the other characters to save him, because (admittedly) he's about twice their height.
