Apparently, twelve city sewer workers died in the recent explosion, and the federal government is claiming jurisdiction to investigate based on the claim that because a victim of the explosion was an employee at the treatment plant, who lived out of state, they have jurisdiction. The TCPD is apparently suing to say that the feds do not have jurisdiction. Meanwhile, a bunch of journalists came in from out-of-town to investigate the explosion, and managed to get some anonymous citizen sources commenting on the dictatorial Clearday regime, and how brutal the police state is at crushing dissent.
