[After struggling for what seems like hours to come up with a plan, Pico wipes some sweat off his brow and finally gets to work.]
1. >search the entire accessible part of the island for tools (hammer, nails, saw, etc.)
2. >search again, this time to gather materials (wooden planks/logs, metal bars, barbed wire, etc.)
3. >construct a decently-sized, 2- to 3-story coop with a roosting area, a feeding/drinking area, and a nice shaded area in case the dodos got hot
4. >for defense, build a thick barbed-wire chain-link fence that's as tall as the coop itself (if not even taller), and install a door with a sliding lock placed too high for any ground-dwelling predators to reach it
“Aaand there! That should be good, right? Never done anythin’ like this before—I'm a demolition-type of guy more than a construction-type. Hope it works out.”
