Do you like The Road to El Dorado? The early teasers was a little too gold for my tastes, but when the first true trailer came out in '99, I think it really came into its own, commercially and artistically. The whole trailer has a raw, crisp sound, and a new sheen of memes that really gives the scenes a big boost. It's been compared to Shrek, but I think this movie has a far more bitter, cynical outlook on life. In ‘00, DreamWorks released this, The Road to El Dorado, their most accomplished movie. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "both is good", a scene so wonderful, most people probably don't know the real meaning.. But they should, because it's not just about unrequited love, and gold, it's also a personal statement about the movie industry. HEY MIGUEL!
