DAY TWO

( ok real quick heads up, i'm accepting mii requests because this island is lonely as fuck

We did our donations. It summed up at around 39 cash... Not too bad, I guess. For an incomplete row, it's better than nothing.
And... oh goodness, the hat shop, I forgot about it! I open the doors, look at their stock--

... there's no tophat. There's no tophat for my head. All that remains is a wool hat, which I take in shame.

I hear look-a-like me talking to... who is he talking to?
Hiding behind the shop's doors, I see Look-A-Like Me pull out a tophat and says that will be their export item.

I've been lied to!

( wish i could buy that hat but i cannot activate streetpass/get crap from spotpass. so is the life of emulation

Now he's mumbling about not being able to activate this 'Streetpass' or 'Spotpass'. I sneak after him as he heads to the town hall; soon after he walks out, I walk in and begin searching every room up and down for the signs of that tophat.
There was no sign of them. What the...?

Defeated, I attempt put on the wool hat of shame. And right as I try to do so, the audacious bastard that is Look-A-Like Me arrives. I ask him to get something warm and comforting to eat, disguising my vengeance as request. It's petty, but it's the best I can do.
Soon after, he arrives. I shoot him a glare before he- Oh my god, fried rice! I forgive you, Look-a-Like Me!

A yummy treat!

Happiness doesn't last forever though and soon I put on the wool hat of shame. It's surprisingly comfortable, which is cool and all, but it doesn't fit the void left behind by the lack of a tophat. Oh well, it serves!

An acceptable replacement

... and then he gives me a Wii U.

Bummed by Look-a-Like Me's betrayal, I decide to use the whole remote thing this janky thing had. I tune in to the news- Dookie was reading the news this time. Ignoring the spontaneous disintegrations, I find out about the existence of an observation tower! I walk up to it only to see nobody's there, which is kind of a bummer.

I turn around and then see the news tower being constructed! I hurry back to my apartment and turn on the news- obviously this will be cause of celebration!

The newsflash shows the newest island around town- a vampire called Ozzy Serket, though she's fine with us calling her Kennifer.

Meet The Vampire

I hear Custard's 'ah fuck' and hear Cutbug squeeing over their recently acquired loose tie shirt; she's been talking about wearing one while we were hanging out. Checking on Dookie as Look-a-Like Me talks to him, he teaches him to say 'I'm disintegrating', but he promptly disappears before he finishes the phrase, leaving it as 'I'm disintegrati'.
... and then he got a Wii U too.

Wii U Strike Back

Dookie announces the new interior shop that just opened!... and then looking at it, I see Look-a-Like Me coming out with a girl's room interior. I peek out of my room, seeing Look-a-Like Me stop by Custard's room... and storming out with a toilet paper. I briefly interrupt him and tell him the toilet paper may be to say he did shit.

Look-a-Like Me stands still for a moment, the gears in his head clicking and the insult that flew over his head turning around and hitting him square in the center of realization.
He immediately turns around and sets up the girls interior for Dookie. They... seem to like it, actually.

... hm, maybe Look-awe-Like could be a better name? Sounds good, I guess!
Look-Awe-Like then headed to Kennifer's room carrying a clothing box. He comes out dead inside, the life in his eyes completely gone as he now carries around 2 rolls of toilet paper.
( i keep getting destroyed by these minigames man. MAN

News flash- a ranking board has been unlocked! I quickly head over there and... oh, okay.

Everything But Vitality Are Dump Stats

I then head back home, looking at the news. Kennifer's talking about Dookie's nervousness and rumors around it- she decided to use her vampire powers to make a mask, sneak up on Dookie with the mask on and then scare the crap out of Dookie. It was successful, with mixed reactions. Custard thinks that Dookie's nervousness is a miracle, but Zanreo pities it.

Walked by Zanreo's room as I heard complaints of stomach problems. Look-Awe-Like runs past and throws some stomach medicine inside- the shuffling inside his wallet getting more intense as he runs to the next room.

Apparently it has been a big clothing day. Okami's rocking a goth, black suit (and a wii u), Custard had a vintage sweatshirt. Heard Kennifer complain about the silver bracelet that came with her clothes and then she started calling for Look-Awe-Like... then the pawn shop opens!

I hear Look-Awe-Like's groans as he drags himself to Custard's room, answering to questions with the same enthusiasm of a soullless husk.

The enthusiasm soon comes back as he runs out of Custard's room and throws Zanreo a new hat. He walks up to me and mentions his disturbing ability to see through bellies... What a joke! I start giggling as Look-Awe-Like locks onto my chest to try to what, see my stomach? Then he points out a crab.

I try my best to stay composed and ask him to remove the crab, which he does. He then heads off, heads back in and throws a mask. I heard Zanreo complaining about the badass purple mask, so he throws in a bear bearette, the look of being unable to bear it any longer clear on his face. I then heard Kennifer mention to someone that she will pawn them, as I briefly wonder how does that even work. Does she turn into a vampire and then sell them on the pawn shop?

... then Look-Awe-Like comes by again and heads into Dookie's room. I hear lots of cursing as Awe storms out the apartment doors and off the island apparently, as he disappears.
