Xue walks up to June, and slams her on the back. Hard. Multiple times.

Xue looks down at June. "You're welcome, again. You know, I've got a mind to send up a shadow ball at that ghost bitch. If anyone's gonna be the most annoying person here, it needs to be me. Send a ghost attack against that bitch."

Anya, the little witch-dressed girl, recoils in apparent fear. Elster, the magpie, looks around.

"I'd say! Ghosts are possessing some of us, now!? Just when we have time for some relaxation! My name is Elster, anyway. And the girl's name is Anya."

Xue doesn't seem too phased by the talking magpie. "Alright, birdie. How 'bout you hear my name, then. Name's Xue. My friend over there-" she points at the large, wispy hedgehog thing, "that's Larson, my partner 'mon. When I die in this hellhole, tell him to scatter my ashes on whoever killed me."

Once she's done choking, she doesn't speak for a minute. Before:

With that, Xue also heads to the river.

Suddenly a giant black hole appears under Xue and swallows her up. She finds herself being attacked by shadow creatures that fly in-and-out of her before the hole spits her back out.

Then as Quinarva heads to the river, a powerful jet of water fires at her, making her fly against the tree, hitting it hard.

Uh-uh-uh. There will be plenty of time to die later.

As she's spit out, Xue's thrown at a tree.

"Ugh....fuck. Personally, I'll rank that throw a 6/10. Could've....fuck. Gah."

Now Quinarva's angry. She parts her soaking hair away from her eyes, glaring dead ahead. "Again I say to you, Γαμώ το σπίτι σου. Γαμώ. το. σπίτι σου."

Xue gets up. She walks up to Gene, pulls out another cigarette, and snaps her fingers as Larson lights it with a ghostly wisp.

"Fine. I'll just take the long route to death, then. Now, what's your plan for "working together"."

"Is the 'kill them all and let whatever entity does that kind of thing sort them out' approach really the best? I think waiting to see who shows signs of malevolent possession is better than just guessing random people, no offense. Especially if people who aren't possessed by the evil spirits have a chance to get out of here."
