Oh, and there's a box of fireworks about twenty centimeters away from Hitomi. ...You open it and find all the fireworks are still inside. Until you open it, take one out, and light it. In the house. Are you crazy? You get a shower of firework on you and your ears are ringing.

Now, there's some important work that really must get done today. And unfortunately, it's some work I didn't anticipate.

CHALLENGE: DAY FOUR

YOU HAVE 48 HOURS TO COMPLETE THIS.

…I've just discovered that someone has completely destroyed the work that's already gone into my park and the building materials that were brought here so far! I'm going to need your help.

1. The wood that was brought here was chopped up into little pieces. I'm going to need you to get creative and find a way to make replacement boards quickly. Preferably with no or little damage to the island's ecosystem!
2. The frame of the new Visitor's Center complex was burned down! We're going to need to redo that, stat. Any ideas on how to hurry it up?
3. And the foundation work for the new hotel was completely ruined when the area around it was flooded and the concrete blown to rubble! Figure out a way to drain the area so new concrete can be poured.

The threat rolls clean off Hordak's back. He doesn't even smirk when Guts is dragged to quarantine, nor does he do so when the test comes back positive. Nothing to gloat about. It simply means an enemy has been taken care of for the time being. Hitomi was avenged. "How many others did he-" Sadly, he was cut off by today's challenges. He rolled his eyes. "I do not have time to perform tasks. There's someone I need to find, I thought she would have found her way into this operation."

He plodded to the ruined parts of the island, hissing through the cavity in his face where a nose should be. Unless the saboteur was caught, the stars knew how long he would be stalled here.

1. Do we not have mineshafts to send subordinates for new material?..We don't? Well, there goes that idea. Since this was an island, there had to be driftwood around, as well as suitable wet material to make clay. People misunderstand how viable clay is as a starting point. We will swim out and collect the biggest, hardest pieces of driftwood, allow them to dry out, polish and smooth them, and fill in cracks, holes, and gaps with the clay. It can hold until proper boards are supplied.

2. Organization. First, get as close to an even or divisible number of employees as possible. Then give them time to complete separate piles of wood, wiring, steel, piping. This ensures at no point will construction need to stop while more supplies are collected. Now divide the frame into sections. With the employees divided into these sections, everyone in each group will assign themselves to one of the supplies and complete their part of the frame. For example, someone assigning themselves to the wood will go first to rebuild the wooden parts. The next person will fill in with steel. Then wiring. Assuming no one is hasty, every section will line up with each other and form the completed frame.


3. Canals. Canals are key. At pivotal areas of the foundation, dig a canal. Every one should slope downward so the water doesn't simply settle into the ground. We could have the canals meet into one basin away from the foundation that empties into the largest canal, which at the end has a filter to catch flecks of debris or concrete. Filtered water passes back into the ocean, the junk that is left behind gets swept up and disposed of.

When he's finished with his suggestions, Hordak turns away and lumbers towards the beach, seemingly returning to whatever crisis was on his mind.

1: You... can't really get short-term benefit without long-term damage, so... just chop down some trees, a variety of them, but make sure not to completely destroy part of the island. Replanting should help with mitigating damage, but the key here is just to be responsible.

2: Given that you've built one Visitor's Center, rebuilding it should be fairly trivial. Just make sure we have the required resources available and ready, and it should be done in no time.

3: Just dig. The only viable way to remove water of this scale is just to dig a way out for it. If we don't have the equipment to do this, then get the equipment to do this.

I feel sorry for Guts. Came here to have fun, ended up infected with some horrible disease, killed at least one person, and is now stuck in quarantine. It's all for the best, really, I just hope he harbours no ill towards us.
