[Fin] The Murder-Free Hotel

[Kennifer]

-Kennifer's Room-

Having made it back to her room safely, Kennifer just... collapses on her bed. This whole thing? Not fun. She wanted whoever was responsible to stop. Now.

Hibachi decides to use her teleporter to teleport around the hotel in search of answers. She eventually teleports to Kennifer's room.

[Kennifer]

-Kennifer's Room-

"Oh, hi. Sorry, I'm not... I'm having a really bad day. Okay, that's an understatement."

Carefully, Sylvi has led Y'shtola to Kennifer's room. It looks like she's a bit busy at the moment, so they wait patiently outside for now.

[Kennifer]

-Kennifer's Room-

"So. I'm guessing this isn't a random visit, and you've noticed that all this has happened a couple times before, right?"

Might as well just ask, Kennifer thought. Maybe there was a way to get to the bottom of this without dying or getting... infected? fragmented? whatever.

She was probably speaking loudly enough to be heard through the door.

Yeah... Something fishy's going on here...

[Kennifer]

-Kennifer's Room-

"I died. The first time, something fell on me while all the lights were out, and... it hurt like hell, like all my bones broke and I bled inside... and then next I knew I was walking into the kitchen again, right as rain, like it had never happened, and everyone was where they were earlier in the day. Like it was a video and someone rewound it. And I'm not sure who all remembered."

She pauses, then continues.

"So I came up to my room, instead of going to the living room to see if I could avoid dying again, but I got stung by this bee that had the virus in it, and... I actually felt pretty okay, I think it was a few minutes later that it reset again."

[Huney]

"Oh, that's quite the conundrum!" Dr. Coomer says being very suddenly behind Kennifer. "I wonder if... hm... perhaps you're in a kind of Time-Loop™️! I wonder if there's a way to break you out!"

[Zanreo]

"Teleported? Wondering where she has went... oh well" he says, as he walks by the other rooms. He then notices several others gathered outside Kennifer's room, and hears voices from inside...

[Kennifer]

-Kennifer's Room-

"Augh where the hell did you come from? But yeah, that seems to be the problem. And I sure hope there's a way out."

At least Kennifer didn't remember this happening before. Was that a good sign? She wasn't sure.

[Huney]

"Is it possible that you've come down with a case of the Crumbles? I read about it on Wikipedia, the free online encyclopedia that anyone can edit!"

[Kennifer]

-Kennifer's Room-

"The what now? I've never heard of the Crumbles before..."

[Huney]

Kennifer sounded annoyed.

[Huney]

"Well anyway, the Crumbles are characterized by a distinct sense of deja vu! Perhaps you simply need to cure these Crumbles before

it's too late."

"...what do you mean, too late? I can get out of this, right? RIGHT?"

...yeah, that was definitely loud. And panicky-sounding.

"Hello, Kennifer!"

Kennifer just kinda... screams. Yeah.

"I'm trying to figure out how to get out of this loop without going crazy and it might be too late for that."

She pauses.

"...the going crazy thing, I mean. I HOPE I can still get out."

"Sure, would liking to find more out about that..." He enters the room.

"So we're all here investigating the loops?" Y'shtola says. "What information have we gathered so far?"
