Julia is just kind of... trying to go over things in her head.

Especially why Eren would allegedly be trying to steal the sword he was then killed with, apparently by someone who knew how to use it well. She knows this isn't the only case that needs solving but it seems weird to her.

So, what we've got here is someone able to carry and use a stupidly long sword that probably is so unbalanced that they'd tip into the water themselves, and we know for a fact that no one crossed past cabin four last night to commit the crime. So Eri or Sephiroth for Eren's murder, (probably Sephiroth) and Squid Girl (because she's strong enough to move a bed with someone on it most likely), Steve, or Ernesto for Bandana W. Dee. Any objections to these conclusions so far? Also, I need some tape. It's not entirely important right now, but you'll see in a while what it'll be used for, I promise you.

Oh, Vels no, give me SOME credit. I haven't any training with those finger prints things, and only the oil-skin peoples have ones that remain long anyway, and in ocean environments they fade so fast it's not worth the effort. No, I'm not saying what it's for, because then the killers will figure out how to bluff around it before I drop the metaphorical shell upon them. I'll also need a watertight container. Oilcloth or one of those clear things you have might work.

While I wouldn't want to interrupt the flow of this investigation, I do still want to keep an eye on Desenari. While I do not dispute how foolproof their methods may be as of now, they would also be the one who would be most capable of knowing how to circumvent them, and informing the killers of how to do so.

That said, Julia feels the group's at least a bit closer to solving Eren's murder than Bandanna Dee's, owing to the cause and nature of his wounds.

She gets up and watches as they investigate.

Well, I've got the items I'll need, our so called allies who are bitter enemies are colluding to get us killed, and I think that we aren't doing enough about that thing. Either way... Where exactly did you sleep last night, Squid? That's important. I need to know. Also there's some other things that are still unclear. The incense pot which Ernesto claims as an Alibi, how was it set up in such a way that it would have to fall if the door moved? And I don't think we need much more to justifiably hang Sephiroth. That's enough evidence to convict most people of murder, it being their weapon that they're good at using that did it and no evidence to say they didn't. Unless something comes up, I'm going to move to have him removed.

You give a very thorough search. No smoke stains are found at all. No burnt stuff other than what's inside the burner either. Looking around, nothing inside it made its way outside, so it is very likely no one moved aroune in the hut or made their way inside.

I have to admit that had crossed my mind, especially since we continued to find no tracks or traces. Before I vote. Are we sure it's not Henry? Not that there's anything saying it was him, but you did seem to be doing a logical process of elimination. You could also have done it and sprinkled the flour afterwards, by the way. Technically.

But for now... does Squid Girl have anything to say for herself?
