Escape from Zombie Park Island
Isaac, despite his disappointment over his dodo enclosure, was in the mood for a story. He sat down, eagerly waiting for what Dr. Coomer had to say.

I refuse to be polite or heterosexual

OK, Coomer..... (laughs) Sorry, I had to. Go on.
Dr. Frankie checks her watch.

It's one hour until the end of this challenge and I haven't seen Akki and Madarame or Hifumi and their attempts. The dodos don't like being kept waiting. If they don't hurry up they're likely to be the first ones bitten...

There we go, much better. Hopefully that's the only injury I'll get today!
Stupid doomed timeline...
"The dodo (Raphus cucullatus) is an extinct flightless bird that was endemic to the island of Mauritius, east of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. The dodo's closest genetic relative was the also-extinct Rodrigues solitaire, the two forming the subfamily Raphinae of the family of pigeons and doves. The closest living relative of the dodo is the Nicobar pigeon. A white dodo was once thought to have existed on the nearby island of Réunion, but this is now believed to have been confusion based on the also-extinct Réunion ibis and paintings of white dodos.

Subfossil remains show the dodo was about 1 metre (3 ft 3 in) tall and may have weighed 10.6–17.5 kg (23–39 lb) in the wild. The dodo's appearance in life is evidenced only by drawings, paintings, and written accounts from the 17th century. As these vary considerably, and only some of the illustrations are known to have been drawn from live specimens, its exact appearance in life remains unresolved, and little is known about its behaviour. Though the dodo has historically been considered fat and clumsy, it is now thought to have been well-adapted for its ecosystem. It has been depicted with brownish-grey plumage, yellow feet, a tuft of tail feathers, a grey, naked head, and a black, yellow, and green beak. It used gizzard stones to help digest its food, which is thought to have included fruits, and its main habitat is believed to have been the woods in the drier coastal areas of Mauritius. One account states its clutch consisted of a single egg. It is presumed that the dodo became flightless because of the ready availability of abundant food sources and a relative absence of predators on Mauritius.

The first recorded mention of the dodo was by Dutch sailors in 1598. In the following years, the bird was hunted by sailors and invasive species, while its habitat was being destroyed. The last widely accepted sighting of a dodo was in 1662. Its extinction was not immediately noticed, and some considered it to be a myth. In the 19th century, research was conducted on a small quantity of remains of four specimens that had been brought to Europe in the early 17th century. Among these is a dried head, the only soft tissue of the dodo that remains today. Since then, a large amount of subfossil material has been collected on Mauritius, mostly from the Mare aux Songes swamp. The extinction of the dodo within less than a century of its discovery called attention to the previously unrecognised problem of human involvement in the disappearance of entire species. The dodo achieved widespread recognition from its role in the story of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and it has since become a fixture in popular culture, often as a symbol of extinction and obsolescence."
"oh hell no, kung fu panda!"
Madarame, who was definitely absolutely there the whole ti— eh whatever anyway he somehow makes his way over to the challenge.

  1. Look for the usual fare of tools around the map. Hammers, nails, and whatnot.
  2. Search for wooden planks and some kind of insulation.
  3. Create a little raised hut for the dodos, with a staircase that can be drawn up and a good balance of shade and shelter.
  4. Insert carnivorous plants that somehow do not have an appetite for dodos around the hut.

Akatsuki "Akki" Iridie and Akira "Madarame" Inaba earned scores of 2, 4, 3 and 1 for a final score of 10. They have a difficult time finding tools, but the hut is okay, and it unfortunately appears they have mixed up their species of carnivorous plant. These carnivorous plants in fact love dodos.

“...Did those plants just—?” [Pico immediately begins to retreat as far away from Madarame's coop as possible, a fearful expression on his face.] “Oh god, please don't fuckin’ tell me those damn plants have a taste for human flesh—I'm not gettin’ killed because of a dumbass potted plant!”

Where the hell did you get those plants? We're trying to save these animals, not kill them off again. And those could kill us, too! Shit!

Skiggs joins Pico to get the hell away from those plants.
Isaac joined Pico and Skiggs in running away from the carnivorous plants. The two anime prettyboys sucked in his opinion.

Percy immediately backs away from the duo's dodo house. "Wh.. what the? How did you two get such plants?"

"Akira, look out!" Dr. Coomer says, before rushing up to the hut and throwing wild punches at it.

Not the plants, mind.

The hut.
"oh hell no, kung fu panda!"
Do not quail, worms! I shalt stop these monstrosities!

He attempted to chop them up with the Brave Ax.
Kim's just gonna... back away from the plants.
Stupid doomed timeline...
I'm just gonna... keep my distance. Hopefully the electric fence works.
Hey! Not the damn hut— ugh, whatever.” Madarame shoves through the fleeing crowd and pulls out the Comically Small Lethal Injection, jabbing it into the plants. ...Hopefully they weren't zombified somehow.

Dr. Coomer has since found the plants properly and begins hitting them. "Aha! Take that, you overgrown houseplant!"

>Punch the plants
"oh hell no, kung fu panda!"
[Pico instinctively moves to shoot the dodos (forgetting that he had no ammo for the gun), only to realize his Uzi has gone missing. How didn't he notice that before? Then he spots a dodo in Dr. Coomer's enclosure...

Wait a fucking minute. That's his gun. He stole his gun. NOBODY steals his guns and gets away with it.]
