Alpotophis just tries to ignore Blaine's yelling. It's not working as well as he'd expect but he continues to to focus on the situation at hand. You guys need anything else? Food or something? Still don't know why people allow 13 year olds to work like this... He seems less angry and more exasperated with that last statement.

And mostly everybody here is really nice! I even thought you were really nice for a while! Dr. Frankie even said you liked my plan for today the best out of everybody's! What happened to that?! Why are you trying to convince them I'm a burden now, when earlier you were congratulating me for being so clever?!" [He pauses.] "...Actually, don't answer that! I know what you're probably gonna say! You were faking it all along! But I don't care! I don't care how much dead weight anyone thinks I am, if they think I'm any at all! I'm their friend! That means I'm going to do everything I can to help them! And that includes Dr. Frankie, too! Sling as many insults as you want to me, Blaine! But I know what I signed up for! I signed up to protect the island and the animals in it! And no matter what happens...! No matter who I cross paths with...! I'm not fucking backing down from that!"

Frankie is beaming and clapping at Lars and X's speeches...

Alpotophis walks over, and tries to pull X back. X, kid, it's not worth it; we need to make a plan. We have to defend this place against those dicks. And sometimes...look. I know you're an optimist and all, but some people just aren't worth it. It's just not worth dealing with him right now, okay?

He looks at the others. That goes for all of you, alright? Blaine. Blaine is a total asshole. But kicking his ass is...well, it's not a primary goal. Right now, let's make a plan. Let's save this island.

[X looks at Alpotophis for a second and chuckles.] "Alpotophis, buddy! Do I look like I'm in the right condition to fight him right now?! That's not what I'm trying to do! I'm just trying to get it through Blaine's crocodile-skinned skull that he can't break me with a little name-calling! I know he's not worth trying to convince to change sides again! All I'm telling him is that he's not worth my time!"

It's your grave, Blaine just shrugs off the speech like it was nothing (although he did admire the kid for going back at him like that, not that he'll admit it) and just goes back to the army, just watching them, to wait them out.

"Kirby glares at Blaine, while Ribbon listens to X's and Lars' speeches.

"You'll never get away with this..."

Ribbon then heard Alpotophis, and says...

"That guy's right. We should start doing everything we can to save this island... and more importantly, ourselves..."

Alpotophis begins to head back to the group. This may be a ridiculous question, but I'm new here, so; what sort of digging or airborne implements do we have at base camp? We'll likely need to find a way to move out of here. I noticed multiple people here could fly on their own, me among them, but well. There's an army with guns and such.

[X pauses for a second, then beams, giggling. Seems the "good job" put him in a way better mood than he was just like five minutes ago.]
