“Yeah…basically someone who was a zombie came here I think, and now they're spreading and eating people. I'm Laurel!”

She waves to the newcomer. Cute! Too old for her. But cute. Like someone from one of her boybands or something.

[Florien]

Newcomers.

What if they're already infected?

We have to assume otherwise. For now.

[X tilts his head, cocking an eyebrow.] "Huh?! There's someone named Claire here, too?! Huh! Must be more of a common name than I thought! Unless my mom is actually the Claire you're talking about...! But—! Wait, no! I saw her before I left! Ignore me!"

[Florien]

The Clonelands menacingly pace in front of the group, pausing and staring at each person on the list they recite as their name comes up.

Doctor Iceberg.

Eyjafjalla.

Claire.

Ignatius J. Reilly.

Charles Calvin.

X.C.O.P.Y.

All of you are suspects.

One of you is infected.

And you can't hide forever.

[X lurches backwards, caught completely off-guard by a number of things.] "Wait—! Okay, first off! How did you know my full name was XCOPY?! I only said my name was X! Can you read minds or something?! That's pretty cool, actually! But second off, I just said I can't be a zombie! I just got here! There wasn't anything back at the institute that could've made me a zombie! Sorry!" [...Why is he apologizing for not being a zombie? That's a good thing.]

We were given access to the employment records by the doctor who is currently missing.

Presumed captured.

Nothing beyond names though.

But we were made aware through... channels, that a number of people here have...

One selection of unaccompanied individuals accompanied each other.

"Twinned" you could say.

And they could have spread the infection between one another.

Every lone individual is a suspect.

Even ones who weren't on-site until now.

"W-well!" [X nervously backs away from the Clonelands. God, they're starting to creep him out.] "I wasn't told anything about being twins with anyone when I first got here! If I was a twin, someone would've told me by now, wouldn't they?! I'm really not a zombie! Sorry!!"

[Cassie]

We go back to Stuart and Bob, whose been seen singing together as the former plays ukulele.

"...Newcomers? Shit, sorry to not introduce. Name's Stuart, [points at Bob] he's Bob."

[Florien]

Oh, it's unlikely you in particular are.

One in... some number greater than seven.

Just haven't ruled it out.

Oh, and Sayaka's still here and unaccompanied. It might be her.

Eight of you are suspects.

Claire, Sayaka Miki and Charles Calvin are the most likely.

Then the other five.

Just confess if you're infected.

After all, you haven't killed anyone yet, and you may not have to.

[Kennifer]

"Hey, I didn't get bit by the mosquitoes. Besides, I'm a lover, not a fighter. Or a biter.

[PointMaid]

Tweedledum and Tweedledee, Amelia said, directly at the Clonelands, You trying to convince everyone here with any evidence or just... hope somebody confesses?

[Mr. Lee Hammer]

She's right, you know. Why don't find some hard evidence instead of throwin' around all these confessions?

[KungFuCutbug]

[Once X is told that he in particular wasn't actually suspicious, just that the Clonelands were covering all of their bases, he calms down a bit. ...For a certain definition of "calm down", anyway; he's still very energetic and enthusiastic.] "Oh, okay! Sorry! I think Charles just got here too?! So I'm not sure why he's one of the most suspicious while I'm one of the least! Shouldn't we both be non-sus?!" [He pauses... then shrugs.] "Well, you guys seem kinda set on thinking the way you think! I'll leave you to it!"

[Now that the Clonelands aren't occupying his time, he waves to Stuart.] "Hi, Stuart! Bob! In case you didn't hear Grover and Grover earlier, I'm XCOPY! But in case you didn't hear me earlier, I go by X for short! Nice to meet you!!"

[Cassie]

Plus, two people seem to have been zombified.

"W-WHAT!????"

[Florien]

Remember, someone is twinned here.

If one half became infected, the other half also did, whether they were originally bitten or not.

There were two sets of footprints at the scene.

We've already dealt with the bearer of one set.

So whoever else was there was a witness, yet didn't report it. They are also infected.

It's not down to who caught the mosquito-borne disease directly anymore.

It could be down to who caught it from their twinned ally.

Any meaningful evidence of who it was who did this is gone.

But we know that there is one other infected among us.

This fact is indisputable.

It's an unaccompanied person, but it could be any unaccompanied person.

When the next person turns up dead, look to the unaccompanied. One of them was involved.

We can promise you that.

And yes, we're hoping they'll confess.

They haven't yet struck.

They still have a chance to not be hung, I assume.

[Kennifer]

"Wait, how do you know it was someone with a twin? The mosquitoes bit a bunch of people who each had a chance to turn into a zombie. We don't know if it was twins or just two bitten people who happened to both turn into zombies, right?"

Tina pauses.

"...I don't suppose we'd be able to find out what role Hitomi had before she got bit, if any, would we?"

[Mr. Lee Hammer]

"Wait, how do you know it was someone with a twin? The mosquitoes bit a bunch of people who each had a chance to turn into a zombie. We don't know if it was twins or just two bitten people who happened to both turn into zombies, right?"

Tina pauses.

"...I don't suppose we'd be able to find out what role Hitomi had before she got bit, if any, would we?"

I can answer that, girl. Hitomi was the Saboteur. And she even was plannin' to screw you over when she submitted her plan, but since she's dead now, you got nothin' to worry about.

[Kennifer]

"So she was bad even before she was a zombie? Hey, is that why she couldn't build that tower very well, she was messing up on purpose?"

[KungFuCutbug]

"Saboteur...?! That sounds like a bad thing!" [X huffs.] "But...! You said whoever 'Hitomi' was died, right?! That's good! We don't want anyone sabotaging anything, do we?! Zombie or otherwise!!"

[Mr. Lee Hammer]

No, no, no. She actually did submit a plan today before she got killed off, after she was zombified. Hopin' to trip you out while tryin' so hard to keep her cover. She might have had her eyes on you next..., Blaine says to Tina, looking at her with quite an intimidating glance in his one good eye.

[Florien]

Oh. X, Tina, Ignatius, Eyjafjalla, Doctor Iceberg, you're cleared of any suspicion. 

Sayaka. Claire. Charles, you're all suspects.

One of them is the second infected.

That makes our life much easier.
