also the newest tamagotchi model coming out doesn't use real buttons it uses touch buttons I hate that so much

the only thing that interests me about the new model is that there's over 100 characters which is quite a damn lot for a tamagotchi toy. may be the most ever but don't quote me on that. but what I know about the gameplay so far it seems pretty meh and the whole gimmick they're trying to sell on is that it has a camera

I hope this doesn't mean they're gonna shut down online connectivity support for the meets/on anytime soon

The meets is a completely separate model, the new one is called the Pix, and I doubt they'll be compatable since the meets has the gene mixing mechanic which the pix does not have, so those thousands upon thousands of gene combos wouldn't be programmed into the pix.
