Ranma's still holding the flare gun. "Hey, I can still see the flare." He said, before picking up one of the flares.

Alexis watches (and listens) very carefully as the flare falls.

"About time. Plus, I can easily use my powers to get a closer look at that thing." He says, as he thinks back to when he simply used his quirk to get over a villain bot during UA's Sport Festival's Obstacle Course.

"What, you can fly?" Ranma said half sarcastically, half seriously.

... Eh, let's not worry about that detail. Somehow or another, Ranma gets a flare lit and drops it off the balcony.

The sssssss noise of the sparking flare once again cuts off abruptly very shortly after the flare passes through the clouds, even though it's (just barely) still visibly glowing and giving off smoke.

OK, there's definitely something beneath the balcony. Now how are we going to get down there?

"Good question. I'm certainly not about to try jumping, at least."

I mean, it can't be that hard, right? You just light it like you would a match, don't you? But anyway. . . ". . . Really hope we don't see Ronnie's body down there. . ." Well someone had to say it.

The rope would be long enough to serve that purpose, yes.

Hm... who exactly would be willing to risk their life dangling off a rope?  I would probably be the perfect candidate for such a thing due to my small size, but...

"I'm probably too heavy to be dangled over the ledge. I mean, my other side could be dangled over since it's smaller and lighters, but. . ." Ranma mumbled, looking down. "Plus we don't even know what could be down there."

What Alexis said. I'm still experiencing some pretty bad pain right now, and I don't want end up making my condition worse.

Bow briefly winces in pain, but shrugs it off quickly.

With that done, Bakugo jumps off the Balcony and heads for the smoke, wanting to know where it's coming from, so he decides to >Try to safely land near it using his Quirk.

"Alright, so let us tie this around your waist- OR DO THAT, OKAY." Ranma said, watching Bakugo run off the edge.
