Nico squealed and ducked under Tyson's flurry. "Wow! A real video game character in this cabin with me! Hajime-san will never believe this in a million years!" He stayed curled beneath him, looking at those very real pixels making up his thighs and feet. Were they sharp? Would they be damaged if Nuco touched them, like a butterfly's wings? Were there more pixels making up muscles, veins, and organs inside?
He slid backwards, finally getting up again. "Hey, I have skills, too! I can carve robots out of wood, and use special moves, and collect figurines better than anybody!"

Malos dropped off his food at his room to eat for later then headed off to the rec room where everyone else was. "Alright, I appreciate you guys not freaking out about me in general, but where are the Core Crystals? Did Mikhail trick me into taking a vacation? Damn him. I'm going to have to talk with him after I raze this place to the ground."

"If we're talking skills and interests, I'm a Pokemon trainer. Specifically, a Coordinator, for Contests. Pippin here has some really cute move combos, we've won some ribbons. Nothing too major, but we have fun with it and that's the main thing. He's not really into battles, but a couple of my Pokemon back home like to fight. Especially my Scizor."

Once their meals arrive, Louis and Marie spend a decent amount of time eating and enjoying their food. Once they're finished, they left and explored the hotel.
Eventually, the stumbled upon the Rec Room.
"Rec Room? What is a Rec Room?"
"I don't know either, Auguste, but we can go inside to see what it's about."
Louis nodded and the two entered the Rec Room. There they saw other people watching an anime. They don't know what an anime is. Nor what animation is in general.
"O-Oh. What is that?" Louis asked.

Yuuta, Louis, and Marie walk into into the rec room just in time to catch the ending of the Dokuro no Senshi! Kyūkyoku! episode. The theme park has been reduced to a smoldering crater, while the voice of the Grim Reaper promises to get Kokkaku next time. The skeleton shrugs loudly and closes out the episode by cracking a lame bone-related joke. The station starts to air a never-ending barrage of infomercials, indicating that you should probably change the channel unless you're interested in learning how Coolggle cooling blankets beat the Californian summer.
"That was something different," remarks Vince. "I should really start watching anime more. Hm. Maybe I shoulds hire some catgirls to help advertise this spa to millennials and Gen Z..."

"Oh!" Marie noticed the little Yuuta and Suzume. She crouched down to be at Yuuta's level. "I'm Marie Antoinette and this is my husband, Louis Auguste."
"Hello! Where are your parents, though?" As a father himself, Louis felt more comfortable speaking with Yuuta, yet he was concerned as he doesn't see anyone that could qualify as his parents or guardians.

"I was told it's the anniversary of being put in Nanba Prison, so they want to see if I'm any closer to being rehabilitated. If I last a whole week here without doing into medicine withdrawal or peddling drugs, the warden's gonna be really happy!"

"They said I was being used as a 'mule dog' or something. Yeah, I was born in the slums and they used me to bring drugs back and forth. They caught me and said I was a drug addict, but I said I didn't know what I was doing was bad! Then I got sent to medical care, but I kept running away because I hate needles. Nanba is the ones who gave me my medicine."
