"Shit, we're late to the introductions," [Summer comments to herself, grabbing Cherry by the arm and pulling her in—]

"Well, we might as well say 'em now. Better late than never, right? The name's Summer. Summer Jet, and don't forget it. And this here's my partner Cherry."
[It takes Cherry a second to realize what's going on, and also to remember nobody else here probably recognizes her.] "Oh, right, uh. Hi!" [She straightens herself out and excitedly waves to everyone nearby.] "Yes, I'm Cherry, that's me, heheh. Just a... wandering adventurer, you could say! That's the easiest I can explain it, it's kind of a long story."
"And I'm just a jeweler. Not to say I haven't gotten into some adventures of my own, but that's neither here nor there. 'Sides, I much prefer taking the opportunity to chill out before the next big thing."
"There's a convention happening further up the coast that the two of us got tickets to! Buuut that doesn't start for a while, so I figured I'd squeeze in a little vacation before then. I just... didn't expect there to be so many people here, hahah..." [A quiet laugh, before she takes a deep breath in to shake off her nervousness.] "But it's fine! Honestly, I could use the chance to talk to more people."
"And we've certainly got an interesting bunch with us here, huh." [Summer just grins.] "Pleased to meetcha, all of ya."

[Summer's brows furrow for a moment, but she quickly relaxes, figuring trying to gauge whether the cop would be her enemy isn't worth the trouble.] "Uh-huh, okay. So just the standard stuff, got it. Feels like that's just common sense, but..."
[She spares a glance to Cherry, who is looking at her own shoulder with a shocked and mildly horrified expression. A moth lies down next to her, fried.]
"...eh, you never know. Better to keep an eye out."

There are all sorts of things to cook. Hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, even veggie burgers for people who want them. There's cans of various types of soda, bags of chips, and what appear to be freshly-baked cupcakes for dessert. The edible glitter on the top of the frosting suggests Mavis has had a hand in decorating them.
Grunkle Ed has a spatula in hand and has just put a comical-looking apron on.

After fumbling out of the door again, Catar waddles over outside, and takes a seat.
... cooking wasn't really her thing- Lougg had the plenty of hands for that, what with him being a hydra and all. So she sets her eye on a cupcake.
She doesn't even try grabbing the cupcake- she just brings her mouth down on it. No way she's trusting a cupcake with her wyvern hands.

"Those are sprinkles!" Emilia takes a bite out of her burger. "It's just processed sugar. Sprinkles are usually used to decorate confections like brownies and cupcakes. Sprinkles shouldn't hurt you! ...Unless you're on a reduced sugar diet." Another bite.
