It looks like the fingermarks are humanoid. And not that small.
...You held the matchbook so tightly during your investigation it must've gotten enough friction for one of the remaining matches to ignite! Oops... the matchbook is burning up.

Humanoid. Well...we did have suspects from earlier that we never followed up on. The zombies could have easily worked together, leading us to have evidence pointing to multiple suspects. But...wait. How did you ignite that?! What the heck?!
