RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: ... hello? (Day 3) - Kennifer - 10-06-2022

Felicia is going to carry Pippin back to her room.

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: ... hello? (Day 3) - wingedcatgirl - 10-06-2022

And once more, the lights click off, signalling nighttime.

The prospect of defeating the cult without a single casualty has been dashed. All... most of you are substantially more morose tonight. But you can only continue as you have been.

Night 3 has fallen upon the Mountains. Those with night actions, send in your decisions (even if that decision is "do nothing").

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: ... hello? (Night 3) - wingedcatgirl - 10-10-2022

KA

BOOM!

Kyahahahaha~! Nobody's sleeping after that one!

The lights click on.

Day has broken on the Mountains. Felicia, the Odd-Night Stalker, has died.

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - wingedcatgirl - 10-10-2022

Side note: Barring anyone replacing in, there are six players remaining, of which two are cultists. This makes it MeLo, so no-lim is allowed today.

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - PopcornPie - 10-10-2022

Nico floats in. "Alright, let's find the last cultist! Uh oh...Felicia! Wait. Where's her cute little bird?"

>Look for Pippin!

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - wingedcatgirl - 10-10-2022

>Look for Pippin! (@PopcornPie)

Improbably, none of Felicia's Pokémon were in her now-destroyed room.

They all look very sad about their trainer's death.

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - PopcornPie - 10-10-2022

Those poor little anime creatures! Nico wouldn't stand for a Japanese animal's suffering, so he drifted down to the Pokémon and tried to console them. Of course, a ghost can only get so far in that regard.

"Well, if you're alive, d'you know what happened?"

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - PointMaid - 10-10-2022

...Poor creatures.

Poor Felicia. She was nice. Look, we'll solve this and bring her back.

> Can you tell anything about the bomb looking at the aftermath of the explosion? Might help. Maybe.

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - Magolor - 10-10-2022

Giroro runs out of his room.

D-d—mit, for some reason it didn't work! I must've been blocked somehow...

And he looks at the scene of the crime, too.

Tch. They didn't try to hide it either.

> Is there anything other than rubble in the area? Can he even get IN?

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - TheOtherCG - 10-10-2022

Marie and Louis were shook awake by the explosion.
"WHAT WAS THAT NOISE?!" Louis shouted.
The two arrived at the crime scene.
"Oh, someone exploded..."

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - PointMaid - 10-10-2022

Someone stuffed an envelope addressed to me under my door. Give me a moment to see what it is...

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - TheOtherCG - 10-10-2022

Marie spots Felicia's Piplup.
"Aww, poor thing..."
>Pet the Piplup

Some kind of concussive explosive? It's hard to say.

> Is there anything other than rubble in the area? Can he even get IN? (@Magolor)
Getting into the room is no problem; the door is utterly shattered.

As for what's inside, there's, uh... Felicia. A lot of her.

>Pet the Piplup (@TheOtherCG)
The Piplup piplups forlornly.

Nico raised a brow. "Did you say...blocked? What did you try to do last night?"

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - Magolor - 10-10-2022

Isn't it obvious?

He glares at a certain direction, and a certain person.

Someone forced my hand, and now I'm getting trouble for it!

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - Florien - 10-10-2022

Ughhhhhh

/Vote Giroro

You can't have been blocked. There is no physical way for you to have been blocked, Giroro. Jailer was a different night, and they're the only one capable of blocking anything. So now it's just a question of Louis and Marie or you, probably all of the above.

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - Magolor - 10-10-2022

Hmph. This is what I mean. You're too confident in your plans. Consider the Rolestopper, for instance. What says Yuuta never just pretended to be the Jailer that way?

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - PopcornPie - 10-10-2022

Here we went around the briar patch again. "I wish I had the answer, but once again, nobody told me what their plans were going to be except for Felicia-and hers has literally backfired!" Nico finally gave in and snapped. ALL he wanted was a week to prove he could be a good boy, he never wanted to be signed up for being a helpless spirit as his cabin mates accused each other!

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - Florien - 10-10-2022

Oh. Never mind then, forgot the rolestopper can potentially exist and that you would have no way to safeclaim an amnesiac.

/Vote Louis and Marie.

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - PointMaid - 10-10-2022

...The letter was a threat, by the way. From the killers. Trying to blackmail me because they know of my survival instinct. Telling me not to discuss it. Threatening my life over it, in fact. Well, it's not going to work. I think we can in fact take them all down. I'm quite confident. It's lashing out, a last throw of the drowning. Quite literate, though.

They've quite underestimated me.

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - PointMaid - 10-10-2022

In fact, I will also

/ Vote Louis and Marie

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - PointMaid - 10-10-2022

It's possible that Felicia was able to pull something off before she... Samantha cringes. So it might in fact be helpful to know what she was intending last night.

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - Magolor - 10-10-2022

Yes, and the role capable of doing that was...

Felicia, herself.

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - PopcornPie - 10-10-2022

"Felicia killed herself? That, or she was tricked into using it on herself."

RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: MY EARS (Day 4) - Magolor - 10-10-2022

You— what!?

Giroro seems quite befuddled by this clearly superior intellectual guess.
