RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - PointMaid - 09-07-2022 ...I doubt the killers would be as idiotic as to narrow our options by killing one of the duplicates. I suspect we will have to find out the truth a different way. Whether by investigation or deduction in some other way. Unfortunately, I do believe we need to know who the duplicates are. The odds are certainly improved. We will have to tread carefully if we are to pick out the correct ones, but this seems like a dangerous situation and we will need every advantage... RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - wingedcatgirl - 09-07-2022 Just bear in mind that if time runs out and literally nobody's voted, I'll kill one of you at random. ... if it actually comes down to that, I'm sure someone will toss out a desperate guess just to avoid the chance of being selected randomly. RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - Florien - 09-07-2022 You want someone dead if we don't vote for someone and the time ticks over? Well, while we wait for the important details we definitely need to deliver ourselves victory... /Vote Louis DeJoy, 75th Postmaster General of the United States RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - PopcornPie - 09-07-2022 "Okay, okay! I have two bus drivers and two gunners." RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - Florien - 09-07-2022 I meant what are their names. RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - Kennifer - 09-07-2022 "I'd like to know if either of those is a role that can show up twice for any reason, preferably from the uh... I'd say mouths but they don't seem to hear them. From our hosts. And Nico, is there any reason you think Overlynd can't be trusted based on the roles? 'Cause I think all of that would be good to know sooner rather than later, right? Especially with the 'killing someone at random if we don't choose' thing, I don't like the sound of that at all." RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - PopcornPie - 09-07-2022 "Okay. Malos and Liz, you both told me you are gunners. Louis, Yoshiko, you both told me you're Bus Drivers. Tyson, you said you were Town Mason alongside Alex, who I don't think told me their role..." RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - Florien - 09-07-2022 Okay, it's probably Yoshiko and a driver is a problem anyway, can't really decide between Malos and Liz, and the masons are probably legitimate, because there are going to be three active murderers at this moment, unless we have a slasher too, and there's already been two claims. As for naturally duplicate roles, that's extremely unlikely considering there's 15 not-the-murderer options according to the brochure, and an additional five not-the-murderer but not helpful either. /Vote Yoshiko RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - wingedcatgirl - 09-07-2022 None of my gifts should appear twice, except of course for the Masons, of which there can only be two if there are any. RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - PointMaid - 09-07-2022 Okay. So logically, one of either Malos or Liz are not a gunner, and either Lous and Marie are not Bus Drivers or Yoshiko is not a Bus Driver... Thank you, Nico. That will certainly make it easier. Does anyone have particular thoughts on one which would be more likely than another? It would certainly be... helpful... if we got this right first try. RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - Mr. Lee Hammer - 09-07-2022 Dang! I wish Aleth coulda thaid thomethin', but he hath'nt thaid too much here! Ith okay; you can talk to him! No need to be shy if it endth up thavin' your life! But anyway, I do think Maloth or Lith could both be gunnerth! But one of 'em could be tryin' to path off ath innothent! Juth thomethin' we need to keep in mind! Which one of 'em can be truthted? RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - PopcornPie - 09-07-2022 "One more thing...Louis and Marie first told me they were the Jailers. Which Yuuta also claimed to be." RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - Florien - 09-07-2022 wait what? They requested return of delivery? For no reason? /Vote Louis and Marie RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - PointMaid - 09-07-2022 Samantha looks at Mike. ...Didn't Life just say there should only be one person with each of their Gifts? That seems to mean they can't both be gunners. Then she hears what Nico has to say. Well, that's... concerning. They should know what Gift they've been given. And both claimed by other people. She looks at the royals. Any explanation for that? RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - PopcornPie - 09-07-2022 "What if they changed their claim because they were afraid of being duplicates?" RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - PointMaid - 09-07-2022 ...I'm not sure why they should be afraid of being duplicates if they were innocent, or that changing their roleclaim would be a good idea if so. They would have no way of knowing which roles the killers were claiming. And they could also accidentally duplicate another innocent's claim. It also makes sense that there would be two duplicates, doesn't it? Three killers, if I'm right about what the brochure said, and one role they know is safe. I think. RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - Mr. Lee Hammer - 09-07-2022 What I'm talkin' about ith we have one Gunner! The one Gunner ith da innothent one! Da other gunner I'm talkin' about ith da Dualgunner, which ith part of da Death Cultith! What I'm tryin' to thay ith one of 'em could be da Cultith Dualgunner tryin' to path off ath a regular innothent gunner! Doeth dat make thenth? One of 'em could be da innothent Gunner, and da other one could be da Cultith Dualgunner! Get what I'm thayin'? RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - PointMaid - 09-07-2022 Samantha nods at Mike, a bit chagrined. Yes, I see what you're saying now. My apologies. RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - Kennifer - 09-07-2022 "Okay so right now the most suspicious thing is if Louis and Marie really did change their claim and ended up duplicating with both of them. The gunner thing can probably be sorted out later, have them watched or followed or something maybe? But the Louis and Marie thing is more obviously suspicious. Do they have anything to say for themselves about this?" Pippin's hiding again. RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - PopcornPie - 09-07-2022 "No, I mean, what if they were worried the killer would claim such a powerful role as Jailer, so they moved to a different one?" RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - Zanreo - 09-07-2022 "Wait... what? Several dual claims... not too surprising, since the killers wouldn't claim their actual role... but here we have some fake Driver... or Drivers, plural, trying to claim they're my role, even changing their claim for whatever reason! RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - Kennifer - 09-07-2022 "They duplicated roles with both claims though, either that's suspicious or they're really unlucky. Which is why I'd like to hear an explanation from them." RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - Mr. Lee Hammer - 09-07-2022 Dath right! I think both da powdered wigth need to thart talkin' right now! RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - PointMaid - 09-07-2022 Exactly, Samantha says, nodding at Felicia RE: Murder in the Mountains 2: WHAT. (Day 1) - Whistle - 09-07-2022 It's funny though. The Guillotine Queens sure don't seem like the type to murder someone with their bare hands, but now I'm thinking maybe they've got a few tricks up their sleeve. Liz thinks for a moment... but finds something. Now, I didn't see in there much, but... Wait, was therea glove or something in there? |
