Psyche had fallen asleep on the bus trip. She'd stayed up all night the previous night trying to finish her 362614848th oneshot. Probably not the best idea, all things considered.
At any rate, she wakes up and realises that pretty much everyone is gone.
She hurries out of the bus and meets up with the others. "Sorry I'm late! What's going... on..." She trails off when she sees Bonald burning. "...did I eat too much cheese last night?"

Where I come from, it is. I oughta make us all some. You don't know what you're missin' till you had some fried rat, Joe says to Linda before turning his attention to Psyche. Hi, Psych! And don't fool yourself, darlin'. Ain't no thing as too much cheese where I come from. Hell, I even like to stuff my fried rats in cheese then dip 'em in that sauce. Add in a little bit of raccoon sauce and you can't go wrong!
