Emilia turns to Destiny, silently objecting to her "mutant nerd raccoon" comment. Sure, that Jake fellow looks less human-like than your average beastfolk, but that doesn't make him any less human...oid!
Emilia then hears over the commotion over the floating child. Curious. Being able to float with magic alone is a very hard feat, something not even a faerie like Emilia can pull off.
"Oy! How are you doing that?"

Destiny takes a big step away from the little boy. What is that, some kinda werewolf thing? Not a threat just yet, but you never know.
The floating kid? Also really fucking weird. "Yeah, I concur with the shortie! What's up with that? You a ghost or something?" Ghosts didn't really tend to answer that question with a "yes", but it was always worth a shot.

So overwhelming that she doesn't even notice the attempts at conversation. She doesn't bat the floating kid an eye either- that stuff's commonplace for her.
"right. so I just head to my cabin and... yeah, sure.", she murmurs again.
She then looks up to the crowd. Begrudging interest in this activity is the vibe you'd get from her expression. "So, may I have the cabin keys?"
