Backstory and Personality: Diluc is a former Knight of Favonius, who quit the order after the death of his father due to his Delusion was ordered to be covered up by a higher up official. Soon afterwards, he went on a campaign across the world to find the truth, battling the Fatui, using his father's pyro Delusion, before returning to Mondstadt, and while by day acting as the richest man in the kingdom, by night acting as a vigilante. Diluc is a cold and more sarcastic individual, prone to distrusting authority and taking matters into his own hands as a result. He has a strong sense of justice, but will also do some rather morally dubious means to achieve what he believes. One could call him bitter.
Distinguishing Abilities: Diluc has a Pyro vision, giving him pyrokinesis. He also has immense skill with a claymore, and with wine-making, and as a cavalryman.
Other: He speaks in red text.

Backstory and Personality: A literature professor at a very small, out of the way college. She loves SF, but is forced by her department to teach 19th century literature.
Distinguishing Abilities: Good at, ah, reading subtext. Good at formulating an argument. Also good at spotting arguments that are, to be frank, made up on the spot because her students haven't read the books they're supposed to.
Other: Will speak in this color.

Backstory and Personality: This is Mike Tyson as he appears in the NES Punch-Out game. He's an 8-bit 2D sprite, so as such, he's flat. He also has aggression issues, ready to fight and even bite when provoked.
Distunguishing Abilities: Despite being a 2-D sprite, he can still punch someone out. Bite ears, capable of physical violence just as much as the real person

Name: Malos
Appearance: At the bottom of the post.
Gender/Pronouns: He/Him.
Backstory and Personality: I'm not sure whether his actual backstory counts as a spoiler or not, but Xenoblade Chronicles 2 spoiler alert anyways. Malos is a powerful weapon in human form that was awakened by an elf who gave up on life, and thus is consumed with hatred for everyone and everything. However, he is not a gloomy fellow at all. In fact, he's quite the jovial, snarky fellow.
Distinguishing Abilities: He has possession of a blade called the Monado, which gives him the ability to buff himself and/or create dark magic. However, to prevent him from being too overpowered, he is weakened to the state he is in at the beginning of the game otherwise.
Other: He really hates calling people he doesn't know well by their names, so expect fun nicknames over the course of the murdergame, should he live that long.

Name: Felicia

Appearance: (See above). She's about 29, with a slender build and fair skin, long light brown braided hair, and brown eyes. Typically dresses in black trousers and a blue mandarin-collar blouse with some sort of cape or cropped hoodie over it. About average to slightly above average height and the lower end of normal weight.

Gender/Pronouns: Female, She/Her

Backstory and Personality: She is a Pokemon trainer from the Sinnoh Region, specifically from Snowpoint City. At the age of ten she got a Piplup as her starter Pokemon and gave him the nickname "Pippin". Despite being with Felicia for nearly two decades, Pippin has not wanted to evolve and prefers contests to battles. She has some other Pokemon she has not brought with her to the spa; she feels Pippin is the one who needs a vacation. She is capable in Pokemon battles but like Pippin, she prefers competing in Contests.

She is eager and willing to make friends. She's also very interested in Pokemon history and folklore, particularly the lore that surrounds the Legendary Pokemon in her region. And she loves penguins, whether Pokemon or not.

Distinguishing Abilities: General knowledge of Pokemon and their skills. Pippin's moves as follows:

Bubble Beam
Peck
Whirlpool

She's also good with animals in general.

Other: She is likely to blame any in-game weirdness on legendary Pokemon at first. Will speak in this color.

Backstory and Personality: Yuuta is a boy living with his mother in a rural town. He lives a normal life for the most part. Suzume is a sparrow that suddenly gained the powers of a magical girl from an unknown phenomenon, as well as an increase in intelligence. Flying from an unknown enemy, she found shelter in Yuuta and his mom's home, who currently keep her as a pet. Secretly, Suzume now lives a life of fighting evil, in addition to regular sparrow things, but Yuuta keeps it a secret from his friends. Today, he's on vacation and is bringing Suzume with him. Yuuta is a somewhat nervous and shy, but ultimately kind and compassionate person, while Suzume is excitable, impulsive, and quite optimistic.
Distinguishing Abilities: Yuuta has no abilities beyond what a normal boy can do. Suzume, however, can fly and shoot magic spells from her beak.
Other: Yuuta speaks in brown, while Suzume cannot speak at all, only chirping.

He was meant to be my first TC character, might as well give the poor guy some relief.

Name: Nico

Backstory and Personality: Nico is a mysterious inmate. On the surface, he's just an Otaku whose attitude is every bit as cheerful and naive as a kindergartener. It makes him the easiest inmate to keep in place, and he is very agreeable toward everyone he meets. He's mischievous like his cellmates and goes along with their escape attempts, but he's more childish than malicious. His obsession for anime, manga, and video games pretty much overtakes his mind and even prevents him from crafting furniture as he's supposed to as he crafts robots instead.

Unfortunately, he's darker under the covers. Being used in drug trades and testing within the slums left him with a myriad of health problems so severe and unknown that, unlike the other three cellmates of 13, he effectively cannot be released back into society. Even more unfortunate was his phobia for needles preventing him from receiving his proper treatment; He'd simply bash through the walls of his prison with each treatment day and flee across the country.

After he was brought into Nanba Prison, his treatments were converted from injections to oral medicine in various flavors, stripping him of his only reason for escaping jail. He enjoys being in prison, knowing he's safer than he was on the streets and very comfortable.

The ball and chain on his leg is actually a capsule containing spare medication. If he goes too long without his treatment, however, he turns from harmless goofball to bordering on feral. His eye gains a bright red glow and his voice drops to a demonic snarl. In this state, he is obsessed with getting his medicine back and will fight anyone in his path to retrieve it. After he reverts to normal, he typically doesn't remember what he did during his withdrawal.

Distinguishing Abilities: His mysterious strength, which doesn't necessarily need him to be in withdrawal mode to show itself. He is strong enough to kick through stone walls and throw wardens entire yards away. If he were smart enough to hone his powers, he could do serious damage. Also, because his body is so screwed up, drugs have the opposing effect on him. For example, tranquilizers just make him more active instead of making him sleep.
Other: Like all other Nanbaka characters, he never stops sparkling. He doesn't even notice how shiny he is. Speaks in #7dbd23.

Name: Louis XVI & Marie Antoinette

Gender/Pronouns: Male; he/him (Louis); Female; she/her (Marie)
Backstory and Personality:

  • Backstory: Louis XVI & Marie Antoinette were the last king and queen of France before the French Revolution struck. They married when the two were teenagers and ascended to the throne as young adults when Louis' grandfather, Louis XV, passed away. However, they weren't exactly the most competent rulers and from a series of screw-ups and France going into financial ruin (the fact that Louis funded America to help out with its revolution didn't help), a revolution was inevitable. Louis and Marie were overthrown and banished to the Tuileries Palace. Eventually, the royal family would try escaping on what would be called the Flight of Varennes. In OTL, it failed and they got caught, leading to the family getting imprisoned in the Temple Prison and later on, both Louis and Marie would get beheaded. But here, right as the family got captured, a beam of light shone on Louis and Marie and poof -- they disappeared, or at least that was how it was seen by whoever witnessed it. In reality, they get sent to the modern day and showed up in front of a certain spa getaway...
  • Louis XVI: Louis is a timid, anxious man. He's rather indecisive and takes forever to make a decision, especially if it's a rather important one. However, if Marie is discussing plans with him, Louis would feel more confident around her and can contribute to the plans. He is also kindhearted and well-meaning, willingly to help out if asked. But, if you insult his wife or harm her in any way, you'll piss him off to hell and back and will beat the merde out of you.
  • Marie Antoinette: Marie is the more outgoing and charismatic out of the two even if the Revolution made here a bit more reserved than usual. She'll usually be the one speaking up if needed and is able of holding her own ground. Like Louis, she is also tender and willing to help. Marie is the one who'll come up with the plans as Louis doesn't trust himself to make capable ones after the failed Flight of Varennes. She'll snap at whoever insults her husband, often shouting at them in French obscenities.
  • Both: Louis and Marie love each other dearly to the point that it seems like they're tied by an invisible knot as they are unwillingly to leave each other's side. If the spouse gets attacked physically, verbally, or both, the other will come to defend them. They also miss their children and worry profusely about their current state as they were left behind when Louis and Marie were taken to the modern day, thus their goal is to figure out how to get back to their time and reunite with their children. As you would expect from a couple from the 18th century, they aren't the most tech savvy. However, give them some time and help and it's possible that they can use the basic tech.
Distinguishing Abilities:
  • Louis: Louis is a skilled locksmith, being able to unlock locks with ease. He is also decently strong despite gaining a good amount of weight from the stress of the Revolution, thus is capable of defending himself or others from physical assault and can fight back, and carry heavy things. As he used to be an avid hunter, Louis has good marksmanship, specialized in hunting rifles but can use any other gun if needed.
  • Marie: Marie is a passionate fashionista, being able to choose the perfect outfit for a specific occasion. As a result, she can make decent disguises. Her charisma is good enough to the point she can willy nilly talk her way out of conversations if she doesn't want to be in it.
  • Shared: Louis and Marie are good at teamwork, their strengths fit each other and as Louis feels the most confident around his wife, they are able to scheme and figure out the next desirable action.

Other:
  • Louis will speak like this while Marie will speak like this.
  • Both have affectionate names for each other. Louis' name for Marie is "Antoine" and Marie's name for him is "Auguste" (his birth name).

Name: Overlynd C. Eyre

Appearance: Ze's about 5'7'', of average weight, has dark grey hair, and constantly is in a blue postal worker uniform. Ze is always wearing sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat, even when it's dark, but seems to see fine anyway. Ze never sleeps, as far as anyone looking at hir for a long period can tell, but never seems to show signs of tiredness.

Pronouns: Ze/Hir

Backstory and Personality: Overlynd appears to be the perfect mail carrier. Ze claims to have worked for the postal service for as long as it has existed, and though this is probably false because retirement starts at 65, there's no real way to rule it out. Ze is always ready to deliver the mail, and knows all kinds of regulations about packages, but heaven forbid you provide hir with insufficient postage. Ze is also a major advocate of post offices becoming banks again, and will regularly insist nothing can stop hir from completing hir appointed rounds. Perhaps that's true.

Distinguishing Abilities: Ze has a mail bag which always seems to contain what is needed for whatever ze happens to be doing, as long as it is something legal to send in the mail. Ze is also an expert courier and can run fast, and is substantially stronger than average. Ze also has a can of pepper spray which never seems to run out. Also can tell anyone where a package is located in the postal system.

Other: Is bitter enemies with Louis DeJoy, Speaks in Pale Blue Courier New (Because courier pun)

Distinguishing Abilities: As a moderator, she has experience solving conflicts. Otherwise, she has a "banhammer", which is just an oversized toy hammer.

Backstory and Personality: A wizard (Evocation) from the mystic land of "Nower", he decided to move to Earth to try a quiet life after a hectic life of being an adventurer. However, he does very much enjoy pranks, mischief, and poking things to see what happens. He can come across as a bit insensitve, and doesn't seem to understand what "personal space" means. His favourite food is popcorn.

Distinguishing Abilities: He understands magic, and can do some minor spells (Prestidigitation, Light). He doesn't have his spellbook (sold it), so this is the limit of his magical capabilities. He can also jump a bit higher than a non-rabbit.

Other: I hop we can get along with each other!

Appearance: (see attached picture) A cat furry with a large mohawk. Wears a leather jacket with one sleeve cut off, a blue jean-skirt, black leggings, and red sneakers. Rather thin, but hips are widening.
Gender/Pronouns: Female, she/her.
Backstory/Personality: Granddaughter of Persian immigrants; mother is a police officer. While she's compassionate and goes after what she really wants to, she has a rebellious streak and a bit of a temper, and sometimes gets distracted under pressure. She speaks passive-aggressively sometimes when she's irritable—which may be often. Carries her father's switchblade for self-defense. Has a girlfriend named Autumn—this trip was planned as a romantic getaway, but Autumn chickened out.
Unique Abilities: While she has no magic abilities, she is rather agile and flexible, and can run rather quickly and cram herself into tight spaces (she is a cat, after all). Tends to be a quiet stepper—if not wearing shoes, you may not even hear her come up.
Other: Speaks in light blue. May quote song lyrics.

Backstory and Personality: A crow-person from a desolate desert with a life of its own, with a towering empire in the center. He's skilled with how the desert works, and how to use it to attack. And of course, how to attack it. He works as an arms dealer and developer within the wasteland, fueling the spread of the empire and it's eventual clashes with the natives of the desert. He's practical, and quick to anger. He's a bit of a drifter, always moving from place to place to indulge his interest.
Distinguishing Abilities: He's got flight, and he's somewhat smart, if impulsive. That's it.

Appearance: A dark-red Keronian with a typically colored secondary color, a scarred left eye, and a yellow skull for a personal emblem. His demeanor and face are mostly serious, and he wears a belt with a white clasp.

Backstory and Personality: A mobile infantry unit in the Keron Forces, Giroro is heralded as a force to be reckoned with, and chosen to be part of the Platoon to invade Earth. He tries to keep up a tough, cool demeanor, and is very serious about the invasion. He is, however, prone to being the butt of jokes, and has certain infatuations he can't avoid. He tries to hide most of these things, however, so don't expect them to come up in here. At any rate, he's a very straightforward man, and can act recklessly, to his detriment. He's also a weapons freak, but being an alien, that might not help when it comes to less universal apparatuses.
Distinguishing Abilities: Mastery of various military weapons, especially explosives; resonance; physical emblem (allows use of the "Anti-Barrier," an invisibility cloak, which doesn't work on people who sees the user long enough, apparently? and automatic translation of speech both ways, CAN be taken off.)
