Plot:
You found a letter in your mailbox advertising a spa getaway, and thought to yourself, you deserve a vacation. So did 14 other people. And then one of them FUCKING DIED. Now you have to figure out who's killing you all off - before they overwhelm you all.


Rules:

1. Listen to the GMs when we say things.
   
2. This is a mafia-type game. In the day, everyone picks someone to eliminate. At night, the Death Cultists pick someone to kill, and anyone with night actions chooses what to do with that.
   
3. No godmoding, puppeteering, etc. Your character is your character, other players' characters are their characters, the NPCs are NPCs.
   
4. No editing posts. If you made a formatting mistake, holler a mod. If you made a wording mistake, double-post.
   
5. Please no turbolurking. Try to post at least once per day. Ideally more. If you need to drop out, drop out, we'll find a replacement.
   
6. This is a murdergame. You might die, you might roll scum. Please don't enter as a character you're not okay with those things happening to. After all, you accepted everything that will happen from now on.
   
7. ... this game is hopefully more balanced than MitM 1 was. But we'll see. Hopefully any unbalance is still the fun kind.

Backstory and Personality: Pibby is the protagonist of Learning With Pibby: A pre-school show aimed at a young audience. After teaching and learning, she thought it would be good idea to have a break and spell out some words at a spa.
Distinguishing Abilities: She can make big words appear whenever she spells, as well as being able to talk past the fourth wall for advice.

Backstory and Personality: Hoo boy...where do I begin...? Well, I don't have time to explain the entire Metal Gear lore, so, let's make things simple: clone of the greatest soldier to ever live, rival to said soldier, mercenary, stealth expert, dog sled racer, the works.

Distinguishing Abilities: Stealth expert, lots of weaponry, a gruff voice and zingers coming out his ass.

Name: Felicia

Appearance: (See above). She's about 29, with a slender build and fair skin, long light brown braided hair, and brown eyes. Typically dresses in black trousers and a blue mandarin-collar blouse with some sort of cape or cropped hoodie over it. About average to slightly above average height and the lower end of normal weight.

Gender/Pronouns: Female, She/Her

Backstory and Personality: She is a Pokemon trainer from the Sinnoh Region, specifically from Snowpoint City. At the age of ten she got a Piplup as her starter Pokemon and gave him the nickname "Pippin". Despite being with Felicia for nearly two decades, Pippin has not wanted to evolve and prefers contests to battles. She has some other Pokemon she has not brought with her to the spa; she feels Pippin is the one who needs a vacation. She is capable in Pokemon battles but like Pippin, she prefers competing in Contests.

She is eager and willing to make friends. She's also very interested in Pokemon history and folklore, particularly the lore that surrounds the Legendary Pokemon in her region. And she loves penguins, whether Pokemon or not.

Backstory and Personality: A crow-person from a desolate desert with a life of its own, with a towering empire in the center. He's skilled with how the desert works, and how to use it to attack. And of course, how to attack it. He works as an arms dealer and developer within the wasteland, fueling the spread of the empire and it's eventual clashes with the natives of the desert. He's practical, and quick to anger. He's a bit of a drifter, always moving from place to place to indulge his interest.
Distinguishing Abilities: He's got flight, and he's somewhat smart, if impulsive. That's it.

Name: Malos
Appearance: At the bottom of the post.
Gender/Pronouns: He/Him.
Backstory and Personality: I'm not sure whether his actual backstory counts as a spoiler or not, but Xenoblade Chronicles 2 spoiler alert anyways. Malos is a powerful weapon in human form that was awakened by an elf who gave up on life, and thus is consumed with hatred for everyone and everything. However, he is not a gloomy fellow at all. In fact, he's quite the jovial, snarky fellow.
Distinguishing Abilities: He has possession of a blade called the Monado, which gives him the ability to buff himself and/or create dark magic. However, to prevent him from being too overpowered, he is weakened to the state he is in at the beginning of the game otherwise.
Other: He really hates calling people he doesn't know well by their names, so expect fun nicknames over the course of the murdergame, should he live that long.

[Florien]

Name: Overlynd C. Eyre

Appearance: Ze's about 5'7'', of average weight, has dark grey hair, and constantly is in a blue postal worker uniform. Ze is always wearing sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat, even when it's dark, but seems to see fine anyway. Ze never sleeps, as far as anyone looking at hir for a long period can tell, but never seems to show signs of tiredness.

Backstory and Personality: Overlynd appears to be the perfect mail carrier. Ze claims to have worked for the postal service for as long as it has existed, and though this is probably false because retirement starts at 65, there's no real way to rule it out. Ze is always ready to deliver the mail, and knows all kinds of regulations about packages, but heaven forbid you provide hir with insufficient postage. Ze is also a major advocate of post offices becoming banks again, and will regularly insist nothing can stop hir from completing hir appointed rounds. Perhaps that's true.

Distinguishing Abilities: Ze has a mail bag which always seems to contain what is needed for whatever ze happens to be doing, as long as it is something legal to send in the mail. Ze is also an expert courier and can run fast, and is substantially stronger than average. Ze also has a can of pepper spray which never seems to run out. Also can tell anyone where a package is located in the postal system.

Backstory and Personality: This is Mike Tyson as he appears in the NES Punch-Out game. He's an 8-bit 2D sprite, so as such, he's flat. He also has aggression issues, ready to fight and even bite when provoked. He even thpeakth in bold, don't need no color! because heth da champion!

Backstory and Personality: Since anyone could apparently become a doctor in the Mushroom Kingdom, Waluigi decided to take up the mantle. Though, most of the problems are solved by throwing pills at viruses. Plus, Waluigi didn't become a doctor out of a desire to help people. He mostly did it for the money. And hey, he believes he deserves a nice break from his "hard work" with a nice spa vacation.

Backstory and Personality: Yuuta is a boy living with his mother in a rural town. He lives a normal life for the most part. Suzume is a sparrow that suddenly gained the powers of a magical girl from an unknown phenomenon, as well as an increase in intelligence. Flying from an unknown enemy, she found shelter in Yuuta and his mom's home, who currently keep her as a pet. Secretly, Suzume now lives a life of fighting evil, in addition to regular sparrow things, but Yuuta keeps it a secret from his friends. Today, he's on vacation and is bringing Suzume with him. Yuuta is a somewhat nervous, but ultimately kind and compassionate person, while Suzume is excitable, impulsive, and quite idealistic.
Distinguishing Abilities: Yuuta has no abilities beyond what a normal boy can do. Suzume, however, can fly and shoot magic spells from her beak.
Other: Yuuta speaks in brown, while Suzume cannot speak at all, only chirping.

Name: Kokonoe Mercury

Gender/Pronouns: Female , She/Her

Backstory and Personality: Kokonoe was born to two of the Six Heroes, Jubei and Nine, almost immediately after the end of the Dark War in 2110. Although she should have been born in a peaceful time, this was not the case. Not long after her birth, Nine was thrown into the Boundary by one of the Six Heroes, Yuuki Terumi. Terumi soon set his sights on the infant Kokonoe and found her, but before she could be murdered, she was saved by the Kaka Clan.[1]

Jubei became a single parent whose majority of family and friends had been killed by either the Black Beast or Terumi. Jubei became a wanted fugitive and left Kokonoe in the care of the Novus Orbis Librarium's Intelligence Department. The Department never let her out of its sight as she grew up.[2] Jubei's absence throughout her childhood strained the two's relationship.

At some point, Kokonoe left the care of the NOL and involved herself with Sector Seven, having become a member of the Committee. She ensured that their headquarters would be built on top of the First District to seal access to her mother's workshop, which even Kokonoe herself had struggled to enter. At some point, Kokonoe also became the first SS-criminal wanted by the NOL, but she hacked into their database and erased all traces of herself from their system.

The definition of grouchy, Kokonoe is nearly always in a foul mood and ready to let anyone know about it. She is stubborn, sharp, and cocky to the point of hubris. However, every vice she possesses is backed by considerable skill and knowledge across many subjects. From metaphysics to bionics and Ars Magus to chemistry, Kokonoe knows it all. However, science is Kokonoe's true love and she dedicates herself to it. Her dedication is so intense that she often forgoes sleep, and will cross moral lines with little to no hesitation. Kokonoe believes that science is superior to Ars Magus, since there is too little information about and too few studies into Ars Magus, and she believes science is ultimately a safer power. This philosophy of hers permeates Sector Seven.

Underneath her gruff exterior is a caring side, however seldom it surfaces. She cares greatly for her subordinates, and in particular for Tager, whom she shares a special bond with. The death of her mother greatly influenced her life, and she has a deep seated hatred for Yuuki Terumi, her mother's murderer. Her bond with her father, Jubei, is greatly strained and the two do not get along despite her father's efforts. For the most part, this is due to Jubei's absence during Kokonoe's upbringing.

Distinguishing Abilities: Even though she is reluctant to commit to combat and does her best to personally avoid it, Kokonoe is competent in it. She uses various machines of her own design to help her best her opponents, including two exploding gauntlets and a large hammer with a drill on the head. She can summon either at will. Among her inventions also includes a small gun which fires a large ball of fire, a gun that shoots ice, a machine gun, and a large rocket, if only to name a few.

Name: Tyler Black
Appearance: What does the pic below display? Black, insectoid wings, scarf, and t-shirt; dark blue hair with sky blue streaks; sky blue hoodie; some scars and bandages; and he's got a vivid blue skirt. Yeah. That last bit is no joke either.
Gender/Pronouns: Male-ish, he/they
Backstory and Personality: A human experiment from some under-the-radar group, he was sent away and fled from them when goverment officials (actually SCP Foundation personnel in disguise) raided the facility to secure the stuff for themselves. Never finding out beyond the masquerade, he's lived for decades and has seen how things in the world don't change regardless of the intentions or sacrifices. As such, he's jaded and cynical, dismissive of idealism, prone to shittalk, and most of all...fucking bored and unstimulated.
Distinguishing Abilities: Flight and hovering with his insectoid wings, high aerial agility, and wields firearms, most commonly two pistols, one on each hand. And...an unaging body.
Other: sigh... What fresh patch of shit have I walked in on this time?

Oh and by the way, he's primarily inspired by the Sonic Adventure 2 song Throw It All Away!

Name: Yoshiko Minami
Appearance: see below
Gender/Pronouns: Female, she/her
Backstory and Personality: A forum moderator who spends most of her time on the internet, Yoshiko is usually chill and laidback, unless it has to do with spammers, trolls or other forum annoyances.
Distinguishing Abilities: As a moderator, she has experience solving conflicts. Otherwise, she has a "banhammer", which is just an oversized toy hammer.
Other: Speaks in purple. Also will likely reference memes

Name: Nico
Appearance: 
Gender/Pronouns: He/Him
Backstory and Personality: Nico is a mysterious inmate. On the surface, he's just an Otaku whose attitude is every bit as cheerful and naive as a kindergartener. It makes him the easiest inmate to keep in place, and he is very agreeable toward everyone he meets. He's mischievous like his cellmates and goes along with their escape attempts, but he's more childish than malicious. His obsession for anime, manga, and video games pretty much overtakes his mind and even prevents him from crafting furniture as he's supposed to as he crafts robots instead.

Unfortunately, he's darker under the covers. Being used in drug trades and testing within the slums left him with a myriad of health problems so severe and unknown that, unlike the other three cellmates of 13, he effectively cannot be released back into society. Even more unfortunate was his phobia for needles preventing him from receiving his proper treatment; He'd simply bash through the walls of his prison with each treatment day and flee across the country.

After he was brought into Nanba Prison, his treatments were converted from injections to oral medicine in various flavors, stripping him of his only reason for escaping jail. He enjoys being in prison, knowing he's safer than he was on the streets and very comfortable.

The ball and chain on his leg is actually a capsule containing spare medication. If he goes too long without his treatment, however, he turns from harmless goofball to bordering on feral. His eye gains a bright red glow and his voice drops to a demonic snarl. In this state, he is obsessed with getting his medicine back and will fight anyone in his path to retrieve it. After he reverts to normal, he typically doesn't remember what he did during his withdrawal.

Distinguishing Abilities: His mysterious strength, which doesn't necessarily need him to be in withdrawal mode to show itself. He is strong enough to kick through stone walls and throw wardens entire yards away. If he were smart enough to hone his powers, he could do serious damage. Also, because his body is so screwed up, drugs have the opposing effect on him. For example, tranquilizers just make him more active instead of making him sleep.
Other: Like all other Nanbaka characters, he never stops sparkling. He doesn't even notice how shiny he is.

Backstory and Personality: Hoo boy, you'd best prepare. This is a long one.

Backstory

Sarai was born in Bangladesh in 1967, but her family moved to London when she was only three. Her family, after struggling for a bit, managed to open a successful bakery. Despite being the youngest child of four, she was easily the best at baking, and soon, customers rolled in not just for the cake, but for her, as she had a clear passion for baking and always managed to put a smile on peoples’ faces. Unfortunately, rising rent and competition meant that her parents had to sell the bakery to a wealthy entrepreneur, who would change things on a whim in order to make a quick buck, and was often verbally abusive towards her. He would frequently force her to work overtime when, previously, her schedule had been extremely flexible... it was rough all around.

But the old man still wanted more. Despite his efforts, the bakery wasn't pulling in as much money as he wanted, so he decided to just torch the place and collect the insurance money. Unfortunately, Sarai was still inside the bakery when it happened (circa 1989) and she burned to death, although not without taking the man with her. She woke up in Hell, and was offered a job in the Gluttony department, tormenting those who had sacrificed others in their pursuit of wealth and/or food. She was later called out to a cabin high in the mountains for a special assignment, being formally requested to pose as a normal human.

As for personality, she retains her youthful and cheerful demeanor from when she was alive, but has a cynical side that she's not afraid to bust out when dealing with those who fall under her remit. She occasionally has bursts of anxiety that compel her to stress-bake a lot, which are usually triggered by large sources of fire such as fireplaces, or when someone forces her to do something far past her capabilities.
Distinguishing Abilities: Initially, she'd try and keep up the human facade for as long as possible, meaning she'd willfully restrain herself from using her powers unless absolutely necessary. However, once her true nature is revealed, she'd be far more willing to use her demon powers (namely, casting fireballs and having a demon tail with a knife permanently attached).
Other: Speaks in pink text when disguised as a human, and mainly in red text when revealed as a demon. 

(Also, being a demon, she'd NORMALLY be immortal, but seeing as this is a murdergame, that's not happening. Though, she definitely doesn't age physically.)

Backstory and Personality: Diluc is a former Knight of Favonius, who quit the order after the death of his father due to his Delusion was ordered to be covered up by a higher up official. Soon afterwards, he went on a campaign across the world to find the truth, battling the Fatui, using his father's pyro Delusion, before returning to Mondstadt, and while by day acting as the richest man in the kingdom, by night acting as a vigilante. Diluc is a cold and more sarcastic individual, prone to distrusting authority and taking matters into his own hands as a result. He has a strong sense of justice, but will also do some rather morally dubious means to achieve what he believes. One could call him bitter.
Distinguishing Abilities: Diluc has a Pyro vision, giving him pyrokinesis. He also has immense skill with a claymore, and with wine-making, and as a cavalryman.
Other: He speaks in red text.
