Hey, guest! Welcome to Trouble Cube! Stay a while and chat with us!

tagpuan:// the reign of greed.
Not your name, not your name, what do you do here, at Mission? Your job, your position? Give us the tour, Agent. And your identification, home address, and any useful information we might want. Or I'll do something you won't regret. Or will. It depends fully how much you think I know about you and how extensive you think our capabilities are relative to what they actually are.

#63(b) kicks the floor-duwende, mostly out of spite, but also to get attention.

You, creature of the ground, provide your name and purpose too. We have not spoken with you. I would change that. Perhaps you can yet be able to build something truly great and enduring.

To your point about violence, Agent_CC,

says #63(b), pronouncing the underscore very accurately.

I ask what else you would expect? Force must be applied, edifices crumble when struck in the right spots. It is only a question of how to apply it best, as I'm sure your partially paralyzed engineer down there could tell you. In both metaphorical and literal fashion, as well as from personal experience, in fact. So, let us resolve this, and you can hand over your employee ID for our inspection. Get your engineer down there to do it too, if indeed there is one there to be handed to us. Perhaps tell us about the boss that needs fixing. We don't need to be enemies today, only tomorrow.

Omen continues to keep the two of them at the point of their weapons. There's no need for him to talk, just yet.

Any kind of speech becomes about 10x more effective when gun pointing (or sword holding) is involved. And honestly, considering his charismatic fumble back in the jewelry store, being the one to point the guns or the blades is as good as it is going to get.

Agent_CC doesn't seem to let go of the sword, her dark eyes peaking through her long black hair. The duwende, though, seems to be fully, 100% broken. The gun seems to simply be the last straw, the one that broke the system and sent it crashing from a hundred stories up. A quiet mumble comes out of their mouth: "Siete."
"You have no right to barge in, kicking it around. Things don't work when you slam and punch at them. You need a guiding word. These things need instruction, order, not some grade-C scraped drone like you and your quiet friend doing the only thing you seem to know how to do. Seite, stop acting like a worm. Stand up."

Slowly, shivering, the duwende seems to attempt to comply. It's got short, cropped hair and a long, dark lab coat. It's black and copper; the type of thing engineers usually wear in the company. It doesn't peek its head further up than where Omen's holding the gun, though. A risk like that would be the opposite of calculated.
"If you want the question of what's going on, how about this. I can, in fact, lead you to the boss. I'm one of his best agents. Old war hero, assigned here for all he's done. I'll put a word, and maybe you can make your peace with him. Through, when I say old, I mean old. Remembers when the skies were blue, and when the tech didn't mean humans were restrained to just seven souls."

War hero. Old. Held together this long. And you claim to be a high-grade agent of this member of the old guard who was sent here to die. Excellent. Lead us there. But know that if you seem to be leading us trapwards, you'll meet a sudden end.

But this engineer, we cannot allow this Duwende, your Seite, your #7, to remain a risk. It is broken for now. You teach your drones to follow orders. We shall leave it without orders, and we shall leave it bound. Do not lock this one somewhere where it can access tools. Omen, stay on standby. I'll ziptie its hands and legs, get a gag in its mouth. Duwende may be skilled, but better to make sure this one can't build a way out in a reasonable timeframe.

Omen, others, do you have any objections to this course of action?

>Start Ziptying the Duwende, just to be sure. Arms, legs, and figure out a way to gag it.

"No. Carry on."No. Carry on.

Omen is tempted to start pointing the gun at Agent_CC after the zip-tying procedure is over and done with. This dismissive, sarcastic, distant attitude is admittedly getting under his skin.

One wonders how he's managed to be this much of a leader if his composure is tested already, but that may explain how his rebellion was snuffed out and forgotten so quickly.

Siete, for its credit, doesn't seem to resist. Meanwhile, Agent_CC glares.

"If you're really going to go to those lengths, take your time. I'll be waiting to lead you. Give the word when you are ready."

Do you think we could take Siete back with us? It could be useful to have around, if we can get it to follow our orders. It could install a fan or something like that. Or it could fix that drawer that keeps popping off its runner. Assuming you don't successfully defeat us, I mean. I don't think you will, Agent, but I would like to know if you have any replacements, an Ocho or something... like that. In case we do end up taking Siete back.

Anyway, yes, lead on, Agent. You have heard my warnings, you are impatient, you are far too confident, and I think you'll enjoy what we have to offer you.
